All they are going to do is blame it on injuries at key positions. It is the same excuse year after year. This organization is crap. They can't draft well, they pick up broken free agents and overpay and then let what decent ones they do have go and keep the ones they should take out to the pasture and put down. Tom Benson would have never let this crap happen. Gail doesn't have any balls to get rid Lausha and Loomis. She put her trust in them and they are bad and then just look at the awful job Jeff Ireland has done with player personnel and scouting. There was a reason Miami ran his arse out of there. Until they make a huge overhaul from the top down, they will be nothing but irrelevant for years to come. Shough will not help them.

Guess that excitement dwindled quickly after watching the 1st quarter. That’s all you need to see with this team.

The season isn’t lost yet but the writing is on the wall with this team and they won’t be going anywhere. But if Jay can hit the portal early, get the money he needs, get an elite hitting coach, LSU will be back where they belong.

Maybe these kids will get sick and tired of playing like crap each week and wake up and turn it around. If not, then JJ will get an early start on the best crop of players on the portal for next year.
