There's a pretty good chance we will be 7-1 when Brees comes back

We beat Dallas sunday night and 7-1 is a realistic possibility

We’ll need special teams and defense to continue to step up like yesterday.

It’s doable.

We’ll see. On the road against Seattle is an incredible win. But we won’t win six games in a row playing like that.

We didn’t complete a single pass over ten yards in the air. Eventually teams will smother all the short stuff unless Teddy can make them remotely respect something resembling a deep ball

It's the NFL. Unless you are in full tank mode (like Miami) or down to scrubs off the street at QB (Jets), the line between the great teams and bad teams is pretty thin week to week. I doubt Seattle was looking at a home game vs. a Brees-less Saints as a potential loss.

Going into the bye week 4-3 at the top of the NFC South standings would be terrific. Anything else would be just icing on the cake.

People need to relax. We beat Seattle. We only have one win. We aren't realistically going to beat Dallas.

We need to be worried about Tampa, JAX, Chicago and Arizona. We HAVE to win two of those. Don't let yesterday's game fool you. We are still going to struggle and most of those games will be absolute dog fights.

7-1 isn't realistic at all. At all.

Is this not the same Saints team that routinely loses to the shitty Bucs? We will probably beat Dallas, lose to Tampa, beat the Bears at home, and lose to the Jags.

Our fans are so stupid.

Overeact much?

I'm sure we can just duplicate that every week. No problem.
Just be quiet and enjoy the game if you don't understand what is going on.
Its ok not to pretend you are an expert analyst.

We gained 265 yards of total offense.

7-1 is likely IMO

Dallas doesn’t have our talent and I’d take Bridgewater over Dak any day of the week

This is low level thinking. We scored 2 defensive touchdowns, allowed over 500 yards, and won by 6 points.

I don't understand how some of you can say this with a straight face.

Game was already over when Seattle began their final drive though. This is not really a fair representation of what happened.

Dallas has a top 3 RB, a QB to WR connection that is elite, a solid OL, one of the best LB corps in football and DeMarcus Lawrence

Dallas has plenty of talent. I agree their schedule to start was cake as frick but that doesn't take away from them being a really good football team.
