am concerned about the Saints being sold and moving out of town at some future point. NOLA can't compete with other locations that would be best-suited to serve as the home of an NFL franchise.

The saints aren't leaving nola.

The real reason Payton is leaving is because Skylene wants to spend Payton's money somewhere more trendy

Completely the opposite. He wants to coach a team the league bends the rules for.

The last straw was MNF. They wouldn’t move the game just o e week after they set a precedent (with the Rams, of course). And they they completely change league COVID protocol one day later?

And how many teams lost draft pics a year ago for breaking COVID protocol? I’ll wait for your answer.

The league deliberately and transparently made it impossible to win it all here and they finally broke him so that now he will go to one of the “favored” teams.

the truth is, she hasnt done jack shite after the no call

No, her and the Saints just pressured the league to change the rules to allow challenges no calls of pass interference THE FOLLOWING YEAR.

It was short-lived (surprise! refs were loath to overturn no-calls), but it WAS there.

The owners like Goodell because he's making them stupid amounts of money. One owner isn't going to force any changes if the overwhelming majority of them aren't on board with doing that.

They refused change any calls and got rid of it one year later.

WOW. Big win.

The organization still forced the change. How is it the Saints fault the refs threw a giant hissy fit and refused to allow the rule to be applied?

Gotcha… Was the Election stolen? Is the Earth flat? Were you the third gunman on the grassy knoll?

I really dont know what else they could do.

Ask yourself, if you had more money than you could spend in 3 lifetimes, and the no call happened, what would you do?

I know I would have lambasted the league. Jerry would have lost his damn mind. Can you imagine the sound bytes?

Now imagine the league makes a change to the rule because of what happened and makes a mockery of the change. They go as far as to ignore the very rule in a playoff game in which you are involved in, not to mention countless other really bad calls that season. Anyone remember the phantom clock that ate like 40 seconds that year?

How would Jerry react to that happening after being raw dogged by the No call? I think Sean wants an owner that will go full unhinged when his team gets fricked by officiating 4 straight years and makes a mockery of a rule change to remedy teams getting fricked by poor officiating.

The difference between those fan bases and the saints fan base is that the data shows that the saints are legit getting fricked over.

dumbest shite I've ever heard. #133 downvote here.

I think he just finally snapped after being the most successful coach in team history , 16 years and a majority of fans can't spell his name right, Shawn and Peyton
