You need to understand that executing a game plan is predicated on QB play. Once the QB plays you into a negative game script, you cannot execute a gameplay in good faith.
You want to run the ball? Don’t fall behind double digits in every start. No shite the play call looks different. Welcome to the NFL, where you can’t establish the run when you don’t score for three quarters and are trailing by double digits.

Care to comment on the greatness of Kamara?
its nice seeing him run hard and being used effectively in the receiving game. That goal line reach over was smooth. again, its even nicer that he's publicly taking a bigger role in being a voice of his team and holding everyone accountable.

What is your obsession with winston? Just admit that he sucks and Dalton is better lol. Stop making excuses. Dalton has done way better with less WR talent. Just imagine if everyone was healthy.

There is no obsession, just me pointing out people being wrong about Jameis.
Kamara on average has better numbers with Dalton. He also has his 2nd best receiving game ever with jameis. To act like Jameis would have never improved or gotten better this season after coming back from an acl and an abbreviated camp is the lie I call out.

Jameis just isn't a qb who checks it down. It is what it is.

Yet that's all he did against Seattle before tearing his acl

What about all the other games?

Jameis figured that out too.
Never give up!!!

The "lie" is that he never got a real chance. Someone here is heavily to blame for this narrative and we all know who. JW got his chance. He has been benched. Perhaps he can gain glory from a nfl team that..."finally gives him a chance to shine".
It won't be here from what I have seen.

I do.
Trying to figure out why he averaged 14 touches the first two weeks including a robust total of 5 catches 19 yards through the air
From week 3 on he’s averaging 25 touches on the back of nearly 9 targets a game
We did get him the ball in that Seattle game back in October 2021 though!

It was refreshing to see the old SP calls for AK one on one with a LB. I dont like it all the time, but at certain times its an easy 5 yards. We need to do that more as well as screens.

I just hope our play calling isn't as routine. We tend to keep doing it til it stops working and becomes a detriment (i.e. Unnecessary hits on AK)
That being said, I love jameis' potential but this offense and skills position needs a Qb to make the correct short/intermediate passes. We don't have a wr who will win contested 50/50 balls. We have receivers who can get to a spot and need a Qb who knows what the spot is. Olave, Thomas, and Landry are elite route runners. They find open spots, you need a Qb who can get the ball there.

He played 3 quarters after an acl injury and then hurt his back.
But sure, he got a real chance.

Injuries don’t matter bro, remember

You keep trying to paint the parallels between taysom and jameis, yet jameis soundly beat him out in 2021s camp.

First off No.
Second off, Dalton beat Jameis out, it wasn’t a competition for frail jameis
Third off, the parallels are your arguments you stole from me.

Or maybe you can't run the ball when your offensive line doesn't play well and you use less taysom.
While I understand the reality that anti-Winston people will argue this, it’s pretty much indisputable if you watched the games. Andy has had significantly better protection and a much better running game. Having said that the offense is playing well and no change should be made at this time. But that doesn’t in any way mean I’m completely giving up on a QB who played pretty well last year (albeit nursed conservatively by Payton) and played behind a less effective OL along with broken vertebrae in his back this year.

Totally agree. He's only had 8 years worth of chances and in no way shape or form....gave us the same results as before.
We should give him another 3-4 years minimum.

Sir he had one good game last year so we should give him a lifetime contract!!!
