which is why Dalton is better for the offense

4 games with Dalton
28 receptions
268 yards
2 TDs

7 receptions/67 yards per game

9 games with Winston
33 receptions
271 yards
4 TDs

3.6 receptions/30.1 yards per game

seems like you're simply stating the offense is better when Andy Dalton plays QB.

Jameis does not want to check it down, he wants to YOLO throw everything 60 yards.

Jameis figured that out too.

Last Jameis full game before acl tear last year vs seahawks:

Kamara 10 catches 128 yards, 1 td, his 2nd best receiving game ever.

if he figured it out then this is even more troubling

3 rec 7 yards vs ATL
2 rec 12 yards vs CAR

Funny it was the OCs fault when the Qb couldn’t execute the offense. Now all of a sudden we are top 10 in nearly every major offensive metric. Hmm

To act like the playcalling is the same with jameis as it is with Andy is lunacy. Our run pass ratio and taysom usage is drastically different.

The math supports that very easily.

Maybe the playcalling is different because Dalton has a better grasp of the offense....

You need to understand that executing a game plan is predicated on QB play. Once the QB plays you into a negative game script, you cannot execute a gameplay in good faith.

You want to run the ball? Don’t fall behind double digits in every start. No shite the play call looks different. Welcome to the NFL, where you can’t establish the run when you don’t score for three quarters and are trailing by double digits.

Or maybe you can't run the ball when your offensive line doesn't play well and you use less taysom. Because both of those things were true early this year.

We tried running early in games with jameis and it didn't work because your playcalling was predictable and your line did not play well. That it fact. It's not all on jameis as to why we fell behind early in those games. I've gone over that several times in multiple threads.

You’re v close to whittling this down to the genesis of the offensive issue.

Why could we effectively not use Taysom? Why did the OL appear inept?

Stop saying this plz. No one should take your opinion as fact

It's also former NFL football player Jacob hesters opinion, he specifically called out the Carolina game as being far too predictable with playcalling, but hey tell me you know more than a former NFL player.

There are THOUSANDS of former NFL players.

Many, many of them are stupid.

Congrats on finding one you agree with.

What about one who has been ingrained in Saints offenses for 20+ years

Put that tired narrative to rest after Jamies final bed shite vs CAR

I present stats that support my argument and get crushed for it. I guess I should since dunces like you and others don't care.

The only stat you’ve provided is that in one game, in 2021, Jameis threw the ball to Kamara a bunch.

Again, just for reference: One game, in 2021.
