it’s pretty much indisputable if you watched the games. Andy has had significantly better protection and a much better running game.

please stop

Per next gen stats, Winston had 2.76 seconds to throw vs Dalton’s 2.66 seconds

Winston was blitzed more per drop back than any QB in the league and carried a league worse bad throw %. Bad QBs are blitzed constantly for a reason. He had his chance to prove he could adjust at the LOS, and failed miserably. Final nail in his coffin

It's almost like he was playing hurt in a bad offensive scheme with bad oline play.

IT WAS EVERYONE ELSE'S FAULT!!!!!

He's only had 8 years with the exact same results so he needs more time dammit!!!

I've criticized jameis play on this board. You're just too stupid to remember it.

When he finally got with a good coach and great qb to learn under he was fine and the majority of this board was ok with him starting this year.

He gets hurt game one back from an acl and then the selective memory kicks in.

I'm sorry to keep calling you out on your bullshite. I know you still have a hard time sitting down after LSU shoved their dick in your arse

Don’t let Dennis Allen know, he’ll shut that down.

personal attacks are how I know you've come to the realization that every bullshite pro-Winston argument you've managed to come up with is just that.....bullshite.

No....no he wasn't. He threw one solid, deep pass first game last year and that's what led everyone(including me) to give him a chance. His inability to run an effective offense is glaring to literally everyone on this board as well as the coaching staff last year and this. That's why the offensive scheme sucks. It's because he can't handle anything more than what we've given him.

Even under Payton.....they limited his throws to short 5-7 yard routes. He can't run an offense. He can't read blitzes and make an adjustment. Everyone can see that.....except for you.

I'm sorry to keep calling you out on your bullshite.

You haven't called me out on anything factual. Just "he hasn't been given a chance" bullshite. He's been given plenty of chances. We know what we have with him.....and that's an experienced backup QB.

Quite literally irrelevant to the discussion at hand....which is another massive tell that you have no legitimate argument.

Ah, so now you agree that all the race bs people have been trying to call me out on is because they have no real argument. Got it.

Lol you have a bad memory. He threw a couple of bombs last year.

And the 14/3 td/int split, minimizing mistakes, and going 5-2 with no real weaps didn't lead you to believe anything?

quote:

He can't read blitzes and make an adjustment.

Yeah the oline missing assignments early on played no part in that either.

The "bullshite" you continue to ignore is acting like him coming back from an acl then getting injured during camp, then getting injured 3 quarters into his first game back is enough of a chance. Your ignorance is blinding your judgment.

That's not what I was saying. I stated we all jumped on board because of that one deep pass on the first game. You're terrible at "gotcha"'s. The rest of the year, we could all see that Payton ran an incredibly conservative offense last season and began to understand why. We all are fully aware that you refuse to see it.

Oh cool.....so did Taysom.

Sorry....my absolute apologies. I was unaware that back injuries hindered a quarterbacks ability to make pre-snap adjustments in both current and pre-injury games. My bad....I'll do better.

and it's still irrelevant.

It just further shows your hand that you have no actual argument and your only fallback is throwing up the results from a game not even at the same level of football.

Yeah that's all that I said. Glad you ignored the abbreviated camp and coming back from acl. You try so hard to shape these arguments and fail so spectacularly it's almost impressive.

and you try so hard to completely ignore every time someone points out that Winston does not possess the ability to make pre-snap reads.

I'll give you hot routes. He is able to give a receiver a hot route.

Does an ACL injury hinder your ability to read blitzes and make pre-snap adjustment?

That's bullshite, he's called out protections and missed on some. He made audibles. It was also a perfect storm of the oline not playing well early on, but hey we can't blame others for the offense struggling, thats your dumb rule.

He could have gotten better with that too, oh wait he's not allowed to get better as the season progresses and was too injured to play.

Literal proof of most qbs struggling out of the gate first few games back from an acl that you also ignored in other threads I posted in. That's more of a confidence/trust thing than making presnap reads.

Again you look so dumb with the same bad argument after bad argument.

I’ve seen him call one legitimate audible this season….and it led to a time out he does not make blocking adjustments.

You know what…you’re absolutely right. Three years of playing at a major college and 7 seasons in the NFL(5 full seasons starting) just wasn’t enough time for him to learn. He still needed a few more seasons

Sorry…..my bad….I didn’t know injuries affected your ability to make pre-snap reads retroactively. We should apologize to the Bucs for his poor play there since last and this years injuries screwed them out of an MVP quarterback
