Superdome is a CF tonight

It will never be ready in time….
Here for monster jam and lines around the dome to get in, concessions (those that are open) out of food halfway through the event, AC must be turned off because it is hot as hell inside….may God help those of us with tickets this year

Have faith. They should have it cool and crispy in there by the time you leave.

In 40 years tonight was probably the most horrendous Superdome experience logistically I've ever had. Probably around 25-30,000 people tops and it was a disaster.

I was on the expressway a few miles from the dome, and it took us 45 minutes to get to the Poydras st exit, and when we could see the stoplight there were no cops directing traffic. Usually I take alternate local routes for Saints games but we arrived over an hour early so I figured there was no rush.
We finally just got out of the car and started walking down the poydras exit ramp, among many others.
We arrived during the national anthem. Went to get a hot dog, and they were sold out! The staff looked miserable working the event.
One of the oddities about the dome renovation is the standing only deck in the corners. It is no where near finished, but I noticed that they REMOVED several hundred seats in the corner. Why would you remove seats to install standing room only? Stupid.
Also while I think part of the low turnout was because of the renovation closing half the dome, the main reason is because of the crime. People from rural areas who attend this event said no thanks this time.

20+ year ticket holders and I found out on here our seats were gone. frick em

Rather than praying for AC or Concessions or Bathrooms them prayers are probably needed more begging for mercy from getting murdered by the natives down there.

This is definitely a significant cause. I see it in Seattle, Portland, SF, Chicago, Milwaukee. I haven't been to New Orleans in a while but I bet it feels like parts of Chicago. Just like 20% more bleak and 33% less happy buzz from crowds, friendliness of employees you encounter.

Same here. I told the ticket rep where he could go shove it when he offered me "new" tickets in the ground level endzone suites for double the price.

I had a similar experience....I still have my seats, but wanted to get my daughter and her BF some seats near my 2.
When I looked on Seatgeek my row now consists of Seats 1-2-3. Yes I have 1-2.
There are now only two rows behind me and both are 3 seaters.

Yeah it's almost like they will probably have more staff and concessions open for a 70,000 person event vs a 20,000 person event.
