No way an NFL should ever fail that conversion. It was lazy playing...I think Carr thought he could just quick snap and easily get it.

No problem with going for it.
No problem with the play call.
Big problem with rushing to the line and rushing the play.

not getting that first and then Grupe doinking a kick later on.

if that was a good team we were playing today, we would have lost.

we let them hang around wayyyy to too long. Just so happens the D started playing like they should have the whole game in the 2nd half.

Yes not going for the fg was just as dumb as taking the holding call early in the game instead of giving them a 4th and 2 and what would probably be a FG attempt at about 30 yards we gave them another shot at 3rd and 12.

Of course he gets the first down and then the TD.
