Kikaha was awesome in his first 3 or 4 games, but has been poor since.
Thats been disappointing. He was my favorite rookie in the class. Know he's had injuries but damn, he fell of the map.

He has been average for a first round pick. Above average for just a rookie.

He's been good at times...has had some bad games too.

But, I've seen enough to think that he's going to continue to improve. In fact, I find it odd that anyone would complain about him at this point.

take a look at the LB's coach.

god I hope Joe Vitt reads this.

fricking take a hike guy and take that bum D-line coach with you.

the front seven has been a weakness for too long.

fricking DET was the worst rushing offense in the league and we still let big runs happen.

just some weak arse shite.

must be nice stealing money and having your players going through the motions.

He and Kikaha have shown flashes but haven't been good. The Saints not having a d-line hurts them a ton.

Chad is awful, but he's dead on here. Posters here and game announcers keep blowing him, but Anthony has not been good. He has shown flashes, but that's it...

I think he's been good. Not great but good. A good DT would help them both. I hope we draft a good one

Good point. Overall shitty play from 75% of our DL has made Cam and our back 7 look worse than they are.

ETA: I truly believe that if we had a healthy/sane Junior, we're 8-6 right now. Opposing OL's just don't have anyone else to worry about besides Cam. Juneyah would have made things much easier for everyone. I know that Edebali is on pace to flirt with 10 sacks on the season, but I think Cam having his best season yet is helping him a ton. Replace him with Junior and JG is having a career year.

You're right, my bad. I thought he had 5 before tonight's 2 sack performance. That strengthens my point: Junior would have made a huge positive impact on this defense.

Yeah but he's too crazy and we'd still suck against the run because Junior didn't frick with that. Edebali is a good rotational guy though. The D-line is Cam and some good rotational guys who have to play too much.

Junior wasn't THAT bad against the run. And I'm pretty sure that we're last in the NFL in rush D, so it's not like we can get worse there. And Cam has 9 sacks on the season. With someone as good as Junior on the other side, he'd probably be around 11 or 12 right now. Dude has been awesome. I hated Junior as much as the next guy, but I would have dealt with his bullshite for another season. It's not like our "higher quality of person" route has worked out this year.

I don't know. I would think at this point Cam should be the "leader" of this defense but Junior was captain now Browner is captain this year. For some reason I find that a tad worrisome and I think they wanted Cam to step into that role and not have Junior being the alpha dog. No question it hurt us in the field.

Last year's team definitely would've laid down all game in this one so I guess that's some progress.

Some of you really are a special kind of retard... They have been numerous articles about rookies by experts(what we are not) that have picked Anthony and Kekaha as best draft picks.

I found it odd that Gruden and company were tasking Anthony with the play calls and line adjustments. Watching the game it was obvious that Ellerbe was making all the calls pre-snap. Re-watch the game, it was 59 making all the adjustments, he caused the line to over play in the wrong direction all night long.

Correct. Keep Anthony clean and then see what happens. He is going to set a franchise record for tackles I believe.
