In Nola of all places. Think Brady is just about washed, but I’m down just to get rid of Allen.

100 percent in…just to have SP back is a huge plus.

Some would be upset but I'd welcome Payton back with open arms. Dennis allen is the arse cancer of coaches

I'm not gonna get my hopes up, but Thomas and Sean back paired with Brady would be fun

A healthy Thomas playing more than a half a game with any QB would be fun.

thomas can run about as far as brady can throw

That would be great for the Saints franchise.

So for 2 more years until his contract is done then Brady can retire and Payton leaves for another team without getting compensation?
Posted on 12/27/22 at 4:22 pm to Weekend Warrior79
If Payton were to return, part of that would be a new contract with compensation baked into it should he want to leave again while under contract.

Brady can still throw it deep as long as he has an o-line.

If that comes with a superbowl I don’t even care!

Leaked by the saints I’m guessing?

I made this post a week or so ago, and I still think it holds true:
quote:
On pace for 4,700 yards, 22 TD's, 6 INT's, on 66% completion rate. Led the NFL in passing TD's last season. Hell, we as a board all predicted Brady and the Bucs would struggle all offseason because of what they lost, specifically on the OL. But now he's washed because exactly what we all thought would happen, has happened?
I don't know how much my excitement would be limited given how much of a stop gap Brady would be, but acting like he's not a take is stupid.

Brady is also on pace to smash the single season pass attempts record. Those numbers are not impressive in the slightest when you factor in 45 attempts per game.
He’s washed
In 2021 he set the 2nd highest mark with 719 attempts, he’s on pace for 760 this year. The Bucs are just a bad offense.

No shot that's happening. Smoke and mirrors for the soft minded.

It’ll be more believable if it came from Jay Glazer. He and Payton are pretty tight.

Not happening.
This is negotiating tactics.
He's close to a deal but the team is not quite there yet.
