Therein lies the problem. The man clearly fails to get a grip on what the 2nd amendment is actually in place for.
Sean - keep your nose out of political jabber and stick to football. Next, you'll be kneeling, too.

He might get more MSM coverage (i.e. Whoring out his opinion) because he's somewhat of a celebrity but he still only gets 1 vote.

Sean has voiced his displeasure for guns for years now.

He can have his opinion on them and express it with his 1 vote.

I will keep voting to oppose him on this matter.

Good news is every Sunday we are both on the same team. I wish America could take a similar stance on politics.

One of the greatest post I've ever seen on this board.

I really don’t give two shits what some millionaire thinks about gun rights. As long as he keeps coaching the way he coaches I’m good with it.

to act like a 250 year old law will & should always be applicable is kind of silly though.

this is what you call a can of worms

same argument applies to the 1st, 4th, 5th, etc

progressives are already taking aim at the 1st in much more subtle ways. people have been primed since the 70s to accept the stripping of our rights via erosion of our 4th Amendment rights. now they're priming further erosions of more accepted rights (like the 1st, 4th) by attacking the 2nd. frick that

the 2nd Amendment may be repealed but it won't be for decades, so saying it should be repealed today is foolish

plus, it shows you what these fascists are all about: stripping freedoms from our population. i will never have a problem criticizing a person using their public platform to try to influence people to give up their rights. it's a literal opposing, polarized view of the world compared to mine (Which believes in freedom above all else)

Australia doesn't have anywhere close to the same government restricted by a strong constitution like the US

they don't have a 1st amendment either and have terrible hate speech laws as a result

you cannot compare Australia or Western Europe to the US in this regard b/c the have an entirely different political culture that supports much more authoritarian states. America is different and, even though its under attack and millions want to give them up, values individual freedom MUCH more highly

Well Sean just went down a few notches in my book. Sean stick to FOOTBALL and stay away from POLITICS. I remind you that your a coach in a southern area of the country that is mostly pro-gun, not that you can't have your own opinion but you may want to keep those opinions closer to the vest in the future.

IDGAF what Sean thinks about the 2nd Amendment or if he has a gerbil hanging out of his arse. There is not one other coach in the NFL I would choose over him. Dude is a schematic genius.

Seriously?! So I guess the entire Bill of Rights, in your view, is no longer "applicable" either?

I have distant relatives still stuck in Cuba. I'm sure they would gladly trade places with you. You might enjoy their less-antiquated laws better, since they were drafted in 1959.
