The answer is not more laws, not a larger Government! Trading freedom for security? Idk why people think they can build this utopia with “laws.” 98% of mass shootings since 1950 are in “Gun Free Zones.” It’s also estimated 50% of American households own a gun.

So you are telling me Criminals & Terrorists will follow gun laws?

You really have to bend the definition of a "gun free zone* to come to that conclusion

LINK

It's an interesting example of how both sides bend statistics to fit their narrative actually.

I heard today that gun sales are up like double and murders are down tremendously

Don’t know the actual stats but it’s encouraging

Well then, I guess that means we should all agree with him then.

Donald Trump used to be a democrat, so you should agree with him.

My thoughts?

Every day I care less about the Saints.

Didn't watch on Sunday, not planning on watching anytime soon.

If the Saints were undefeated or if it were late in the season and they made the playoffs, you'd watch.

All these "principled" people are so full of shite, it's comical.

And this thread got me triggerred...

Why does the topic of the gun control turn so many people around here into complete idiots??

"But but but what about cars that kill people, and knives, and alchohol; should that all be banned too?"
"Criminals wont care if guns are legal or not; look at drugs"

This logic is stupid.

2nd amendment gives everyone the right to bear arms. Where should the line be drawn on the type of gun/weapon civilians are allowed to own?
Automatic weapons are outlawed. Should semi-automatic weapons be banned? I don't know. I barely know anything about guns. I own a handgun for protection.
There should be a legit debate about the details of the 2nd amendment, not these terrible irrelevant points people make for arguments sake.

Whether or not gun control is part of the solution; the government needs to take drastic measures to combat rampant murder in this country. Including the multiple shootings every other day in New Orleans and all of these mass shootings.

Don't we all know that the only answer is to do nothing by now? Ahh. Get more guns for everyone. Done. Arm the teachers done. Arm the children... done?

Every time this discussion comes up, the only answer from gun freaks is to do nothing and try nothing.

Oh well..
