Dude was ON THE SIDELINE and ran onto the field sticking his finger in the back of Lattimore a helmet.

And he’s not a dbag?

It takes one clown to ruin a locker room.

The video is around here somewhere.

No he shouldn't have confronted our DB but it was tiny compared to the blind side bitch back stabbing move of dbag Evans.

He's not a star player on a big contract. He'll be cut in a second if he's a problem. You guys love to worry and must think Payton is a moron. He's obviously comfortable with this.

I imagine he'll be somewhat humbled by only two teams wanting him and as a backup. The fact he went for lesser money is a good sign alone.

i’m not calling him a moron but he just signed someone with arguably the lowest character in the league. How can you constantly bark about high character, high IQ players and be comfortable signing Winston? Call him whatever you want but he needs to worry about his fricking meat.

Not a bad option for a one year back up Brees type situation

I don't remember this contant barking about only high character players playing for CSP.
As to only high IQ players I believe JW scored just below Brees on the intelligence test.

Now maturity is another matter. The guy seems often oblivious to his own actions and reactions.

Maybe he grows up. We will find out.

I'm fine with this. As good a free agent QB as there is out there.

I get what you're saying but what other qb have you seen do that to a player
Winston was sticking his finger out like a child
In a sense it means he cares but on the other hand people expect qbs to act differently

I don't want his attitude, but the dude is a legit 1st rd talent (first pick talent). He needs to grow up and learn how to play smart.

He got dumped by Tampa, nobody wanted him as a starter. He probably had his come-to-Jesus moment. Now he's coming to a Super Bowl contender, coached by the best offensive mind and QB developer in the league, backing up a 40 yr old legend. The opportunity is there, just like it was last year for Teddy. Sit down, learn from the master, try to get ready to take over soon. Not just start in a year, but start on a division winner, a playoff team. He needs to chauffer Brees everywhere, watch his every move.

Do y’all see Jameis as a long term thing? He’s just on a 1 year deal. Is he anything more than insurance for a year?

I took it as them seeing some developmental traits in him and Payton wanting to see if there’s anything to groom. He took less to come here. That says something. Dude maybe ready to work.

We could have taken some bum like McCown or Flacco and been just fine.
