We have 3 WRs better than Boutte, probably 4. If we did trade for him it'd be like a 7th round pick and would have absolutely no impact on Olave at all. This is rage bait or pure retardationism.

I wanted us to draft him the year he slipped so far down bc I think he was a lot better than where he went. Woukd have had interest in him if we hadn’t drafted three receivers, two pretty high. But we did.
Doesn’t make sense now to get him. I thought I read he wants a big contract now on top of it.

Boutte isn’t in the same stratosphere as a healthy Olave. So I don’t really want to give up anything more than a throwaway pick and see how he does.

Not opposed to letting Olave contract expire either, and tagging him if necessary if he has another good year.
His injury history is worrisome. If Lance breaks out you could always trade Olave while he’s tagged and have money to go after a difference maker at another position.

My guess is we drafted heavy WR to not only compliment Olave, but for insurance if we can't sign him.
I certainly would not pay him top 10 money so we will see how it pans out.

Lance is a project. He will be PS this season more than likely.
