They already said he was out for 2 months, so it makes sense. If he doesn't come back for the Vikings then Browns is my earliest guess. You don't want him starting back on that awful Metlife field. So many players get lower body injuries on it. Doesn't make sense to fly him to France and throw off the whole schedule especially with a bye the next week. Plus you don't know field conditions there. That leaves us with Browns after the bye.

With what little he showed in preseason, I'd consider it a successful pick if he plays at a pro bowl level for 10/11 games a year.

Edit: I didn't mean he showed little as in skills. I meant PT. When he was catching balls, he looked to have #1 WR potential.
Bain has bust written all over him IMO. You don't spend a top 10 pick betting on something that hasn't happened in 26 years. Data only goes back that far because they didn't measure arms. There are hundreds of pass rushers with arms 33" or longer with 10 plus sacks.

We're also talking over 2 inches here. 33" is the threshold. This is a list of sub 32" pass rushers with 10 or more sacks in a season since 1999. 4 players! Bain's arms were 30 7/8.

Notable Sub-32" Arm Pass Rushers

Player Arm Length Best Sack Season(s) Career Sacks
Markus Golden 31 1/8" 12.5 (2016), 11.0 (2021) 51.0
Melvin Ingram 31 1/2" 10.5 (2015, 2017) 58.5
Micah Parsons 31 1/2" 13.0+ (Multiple Seasons) 60.0+
Kyle Van Noy 31 5/8" 10.0 (2024) 54.0

List of sub 33 with 10 plus sacks. Only 11. This is counting the sub 32 guys FYI.

Player Arm Length Career High Sacks Total 10-Sack Seasons
Haason Reddick 32 3/4" 16.0 4
Nik Bonitto 32 1/2" 15.0 1
Shaq Barrett 32 1/4" 19.5 2
Brandon Graham 32 1/4" 11.0 1
Clay Matthews 32 1/4" 13.5 4
Aidan Hutchinson 32 1/8" 14.5 2
Trey Hendrickson 32" 17.5 3
Kyle Van Noy 31 5/8" 10.0 1
Micah Parsons 31 1/2" 14.0 5
Melvin Ingram 31 1/2" 10.5 2
Markus Golden 31 1/8" 12.5 3
Especially now with NIL and transfer rules. Almost every NFL worthy player gets to a P4 school before they enter the NFL now.
Don't see him making a debut on the road at Metlife or in France with the bye right after. Cleveland is my guess unless he crushes the timeline and starts vs Vikings (or maybe a ramp up there).
We have 3 WRs better than Boutte, probably 4. If we did trade for him it'd be like a 7th round pick and would have absolutely no impact on Olave at all. This is rage bait or pure retardationism.
It'll match or slightly exceed this. They have the same agent and similar stats (Olave better but has the concussion concern).

"Garrett Wilson signed a four year, $130 million contract extension with the Jets on July 17, 2025. $90 million is guaranteed of which $38.3 million is fully guaranteed at signing. The new guarantee on the contract is $69.675 million. Wilson received a $13.75 million signing bonus and his 2025 salary is fully guaranteed. There is a $20 million option bonus in 2026 and that along with his salary is also fully guaranteed. Wilson will earn a full guarantee on his 2027 salary in March 0f 2026 and a full guarantee on his 2028 salary in March of 2027."
I think he was referring to formations as much as player talent. CKM has the tools to run the offense how he wants now.

Trump's biggest failure is putting in 3 moderate conservatives (90s leftists) on the Supreme Court. Libs always use the court to usurp the other 2 branches. I wish he had found 3 more Clarence Thomas clones. Gorsuch is the only halfway decent one. A woman with a hyphenated name should've been eliminated for the hyphen and Kav is Roberts 2.0.
