This is his only mock draft, based on intel from around the league. It's not selecting Williams that pisses me off, it's passing on Graham. If this happens, it's because the Saints always think they know better than the consensus. History says they don't.

He’s got 12 other teams passing on him as well. By definition, the condenses would be that he’s not a top 10 pick.

I’d prefer Walker, I’d be happy with either Graham or Williams.

I’m just glad most people have us having the chance to pick one of those three and taking them.

There is mock draft fatigue with Graham.

His pre combine hype vs post combine hype is totally different. Lot of yall haven’t adjusted

Man, I kinda don't care. Graham is awesome. If he's there at 9, unless someone else that is totally electric and shouldn't be there is there, I am running to the podium

Edit: I can see the knock on him, that he is not that athletic and he is probably what he is. Someone like Mykel just has unbelievable potential. I get it

I like Graham though

I don’t see the roster spot available for another defensive tackle. We need edge versatility if We go defensive line

If he's the best player you make it work. The roster next year won't be what it is this year and you won't care about who was on the roster this year if Graham works out.

You are moving to a versatile scheme so you find ways. You play him at 3-4 End, in the middle, in a two man front on pass rush downs with Bresee etc

I think this is dependent on what/how you view guys.

Is mykel Williams a pure rush 3-4 OLB or can he do it all like Anthony barr.

Peter was one of the most accurate mock drafts from last year.

He was, and he does not base it on any player evaluation whatsoever but actual team intel, which is probably the best way to do this.

Williams will be your 5 tech. I believe he can stand up but you’re not drafting Williams to drop in coverage.

I want a pass rusher in the worst way. But Graham is a good compliment to Bresee. We need a stout run defender which is not Bresee’s strength. And while Godchaux is a good player, I don’t think he’s a long term solution at DT/NT and doesn’t have the upside a Bresee & Graham pairing have.

That being said, I’d prefer a pass rusher and get a guy like Alfred Collins, Kenneth Grant, Shemar Turner, Jordan Burch, Deone Walker or Joshua Farmer in a later round to develop into that run stuffer. But I’d be happy with Graham.

We just need talent at so many positions.

If he's better than what you have you make room. It's not difficult.
Are we not going to draft a QB cause there is no room with 3 already on the roster?
