I think under, but only because I think the ball gets spread around a bit.

I'd be upset with anything less than 1,800yds combined. We are about to pay Olave $35mil and drafted Tyson #8. 1,800yds should be a minimum from a value pov.

I think they go over but if they are under due to Etienne, TE success, or Lance then that's acceptable excuses.

I’d take the under with a gun to my head.

Under, only slightly.

Olave will be somewhere around 750-1,000

Tyson will be anywhere from 650-850.

Like someone said earlier in the thread, the ball is going to get spread around A LOT.

Was 2019 w the same duo.

Over. Olave & Shaheed had 1,662 w Shaheed only playing 9 games last year.

Unless a significant injury occurs, over.

No worries, I had to look it up myself. I just remember MT almost having 2,000 by himself (1725)

The crazy part was you could only use Ginn as the 2nd WR to get over 2,000. Tre'Quan was 3rd and only had 234 yards. That's like getting 180 points on Family Feud and still not getting to the 200

If the under hits, we're going to have a terrible year

Olave 1100
Tyson 750
Juwan 850
Vele 450
Etienne 300
RB2 150
Misc rb/wr 400

4000 yards. how would that be terrible?

Juwon and Vele combining for 1300 yards doesn't seem like an optimal situation, especially if we have Olave, who had 1160 yards with only a partial season of Shough, and Tyson.

Olave needs to be moving into that 12-1300 yard range and Tyson needs to be better than the range you posted for us to have a really good season. Our defense is likely to be really bad and we're going to have to be moving the ball and passing more than running to have a good season in terms of W/L.

Terrible may have gone too far, but we need real receivers getting those yards, not a TE like Johnson or Vele. The reason we spent such a high pick on Tyson was because of that Johnson/Vele duo.

It's not just raw numbers at the end of the year. If you get a stud WR and a good QB teams will not just let that be a 1 on 1 situation all the time. They will double up such a weapon opening hopefully other positions to be effective. So as the year goes by if you see Tyson beginning to get more attention by the defense you'll know even without stats that we have a great WR on our hands.

Maybe slightly under, but they’ll still be productive…
