but Payton is already having trouble with one diva wide receiver. Why the hell would he want another one?

Did he not try to make a trade for him on Monday?

A healthy Jameis and I’d say we’re the odds on favorite to land him…but idk if our QB room is appealing to a guy that is need of some stat rehab to make people remember he’s good at football

What’s the time period of the waiver option on Odell?

Won’t be until next week now. He isn’t going to clear waivers and certainly isn’t falling all the way to us if the Browns are doing a serious restructure. It could be as low as 3 million from what I saw earlier

Clearly there is interest but it sounds like the Saints were just kicking the tires to see what the browns wanted

He is a complete train wreck, with poison in the Locker room. Lots of talent, but an egotistical Prima Donna. Hope he doesn’t spend more money on diamonds in his teeth.

If this guy somehow cleared waivers(which he won't because someone will be dumb enough)...the dude would probably suffer a career ending injury with his busted shoulders. Mr. Magoo would lead him into getting smashed by a 260lb. LB going over the middle.

Siemian threw both Demayrius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders to 1k seasons in 2016

No targets are accounted for here. Clear path to be this team’s WR1

There is no doubt about that. On a team that has Kevin White dressing out( I think the team put him back on the practice squad Wednesday) and lining up Ty Montgomery in the slot position you can't help but get featured as a WR if you have any talent. Also their has to be some temptation to get an opportunity to play in a Sean Payton offense . If their is a team I would be concerned with snatching him up it would be Tampa because it's common knowledge that Brady is a big OBJ fan and OBJ a big Brady fan.

OP needs to be updated. Per Shefty, Odell’s restructure is for $7.25M remaining, making him unlikely to be claimed. He cannot be claimed until 4pm ET Tuesday.

The following teams all have the $7.25M cap space..

Jacksonville Jaguars
Philadelphia Eagles
Denver Broncos
Seattle Seahawks
Carolina Panthers
Los Angeles Chargers
Pittsburgh Steelers
Washington Football Team
Cincinnati Bengals

And Houston Texans, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Dallas Cowboys, New York Jets, Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots are all within $3 million of that $7.25 million mark.

Sounds like they didnt lower it much, its still over $7 mil this season

All they did is remove the final 2 years of his deal.

What? Lol. Over 7 mill for 8 games and he’s a free agent next year. That’s great news to clear. Odell can legit sit out if he doesn’t like the team.

removing the final 2 years makes it even more likely he clears waivers right? losing teams don’t want an 8 game rental

The real question is OBJ allowed within a certain amount distance to that ASSaulted security guard from 2019?
