NFL directive is out...don’t talk about it.

After blowing up in-game, on Twitter (enough that the official ref account made a video), the strip/TD has been washed from every highlight package. Even Bradshaw didn’t even mention it. The NFL office of threats and propaganda has spoken.

They talked about it on NBC.
They’ll be the last that do.

When the refs break basic protocol, which is NOT to whistle the play dead on a questionable int/fumble from the QB, which every basic fan knows the rule about,
It is time to turn it off.
It has been sad to see the NFL die. It used to be kinda fun. Always knew something was up when we would always get hosed by the refs back in the day, but for the couple of years that the refs called the games more fairly for the Saints, you could tell the difference.
It has destroyed my interest and excitement for Saints games.
Who Dat! Forever. Hope everyone still supports the Saints and Nola, for the people of New Orleans.

What’s really fricked up is that if you mention this anywheres else, you’re a crybaby conspiracy theorist...

It’s exactly what the left wing media does when our President deserves praise they bury it

If joe buck and troy aikmen say it's bad... it's BAD..
ESPECIALLY if it hurts the saints.

You would think fans of football would be upset at the shoddy shite product on the field.

Does ANYONE still think it was coincidence we won the our first ever SB shortly after Katrina?? Please, we were media darlings and the NFL made sure their Cinderella story came true.

5 seasons after Katrina. Not the next year.
That blocked punt was not scripted. Brees recovering from his injury wasn't planned. The team earned their place. It was an amazing road to watch with some absolutely amazing players.
And Brees is statistically the greatest QB ever. And Payton is one hell of a coach.
I'll tell you one thing: The Dome from 06-09 there was some magic in the air. You can't fake that. And you can't script it. It was one of the hardest places to play. Go watch post game tapes from teams we beat. Watching games in the dome during those seasons was an experience like I've never had before or since. It was amazing. Pure adrenaline and deafening crowd noise. An offense that absolutely couldn't be stopped run by a QB that couldn't be slowed down.
Did the NFL tell refs to call games fair? Maybe.
Did the Saints work their asses off and deserve it that year? Absolutely.
The saints played so well they won the Superbowl despite the NFL and then the NFL purposefully destroyed our franchise to make sure it never happened again

There will always be a few fanboys/ shills. Most fans feel the same way about the NFL right now.

Buck lost his mind when it happened .
Felt good for him to take our backs there.

In November 1919, if you mentioned your suspicions that the previous month’s World Series had been fixed, you’d have been laughed at too.

Of course this play was massive to us but unlike the NFC Championship or Monday night there was a bunch of other stuff to talk about. The game ended up being a blow out, play happened in the 1st half, Drew got hurt, the DEN roughing the passer decided the game, Rothlisberger got hurt, and the SNF game was good.
I saw plenty about the call last night but to anyone other than Saints fans its not that interesting.

take off the tinfoil, there's a blurb about it on nfl.com in the "what we learned" article.
quote:
3. It wouldn't be a Saints-Rams matchup without refereeing controversy. In the second quarter, with the score tied 6-6 and the Rams at the 11-yard line, Goff was hit on a drop back, and the ball popped out as he went to throw. Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan scooped up the pigskin and raced downfield for what could have been a huge defensive touchdown. However, the play was whistled dead as Jordan was scampering down the sideline and ruled an incomplete pass. After review, it was determined the ball was out before the pass giving the Saints the ball. The whistle, however, wiped out what could have been a game-altering defensive score.

I'm 53 and I have been a life long die hard Saints fan, thru the thick and thin. Bounty Gate, National Anthem protest, No call in NFCCG and yesterdays cluster frick has done me in! I have been on the fence for a while now, I don't even watch any other NFL games any longer.
The NFL and it's management has completely sucked the fun and life out of me! I'm done!
Who Dat forever!!!!
