Its pretty bad

The Browns late td call was almost literally
“Snap to taylor.....he throws it....touchdown”

With zero inflection or emotion. No description of the pass or positioning.

I had to switch over to the Browns radio broadcast so I could hear what was actually happening.

Give it time.

On the other hand, Deuce has turned into a freakin football encyclopedia

That’s why he should NOT have an NFL PBP job.

Should have hired a professional.

I’ve quit listening to WWL all together now.

I listened to the 3rd quarter of LSU-auburn yesterday and Chris Blair is the exact same way. And he’s a longtime pro

It was the first time I listened to him as well. While I see your point, I think he'll do fine once he gets comfortable.

This is what makes me infuriated about the radio and Strief... Come on man!

I keep hearing people say he new at this, guess what a guy went no experience should not have a NFL radio play by play job. It is so bad I listen to high school games on the radio that sound better. It's a shame we go from one of the best to ever do it in Jim Henderson to this joke of a broadcast.

That's the point. He shouldn't have even been considered for the job.

Zach is a great guy. He has absolutely adopted this city as his own. He is involved in many areas, and represented everything you can ever want in a player. He wasn't always the most talented, but he worked hard and never gave up.

I don't throw this around often, but he is absolutely someone young players could look up to as a role model.

I am getting very concerned that his well-earned reputation is getting destroyed by his lack of PBP skill. Now, he did ask for the job.

I don't see this ending well for anyone.

Your joke of a post is pretty bad too. Maybe you should learn some stupid Engrish.

Yes he is bad, no doubt, never really got the hire. He will improve though. Passes it to the man, and boom goes the dynamite.

Really usually when you hire a player they do color not play by play. Very rarely do they end up doing the latter.
Frank Gifford and Pat Summerall were players who ended up doing play by play.

Give Zach a chance indeed. Hope he will settle in. Could be more worse like ESPN M.N.F.

He is literally the worst play by play man in the history of major league sports in America.

Its baffling considering that the great Joel Meyers is an NFL radio legend and we passed him up for lumpy and talentless Strief
