How you gonna make a play like that, then shite the bed and not even make it to the SB? Also, CSP needs to send that sofa back to Minny and inform them they may need it just as bad as us because they'll be on the couch watching just like us.

What an epic choke job this is. Did they even get off the plane?

That play will live on every time the Vikings and Saints play.

but it's not a play that will be shown in every Super Bowl preview package like Porter's 2 INTs in '10

Saints season ended because we didn't show up the entire 1st half, not because of that 1 fluke of a play. It may go down as "Catch of the year" or "Play of the year" but 10, 20, 30 years from now when people look up the winner of SB LII, they'll see Eagles/Patriots. So no, it doesn't mean shite.

Amen.

The Vikings were a fluke. Spotted 17 nothing and needed a miracle to win at home.

Sorry, but that’s not dominant.

It will. Every time you watch the saints play the Vikings, you'll think about that play. Same way Vikings fans think about that NFC championship with Favre. Lose with some class

why so salty?

I'm just discussing where this particular play will fall in NFL history... which is.. as stated... it'll be shown a couple times when the Saints and Vikings play in the future to balance out Porter's INT in the rivalry

but when you talk about in the grand scheme of deciding NFL champions... only Porter's will be seen b/c the Saints went on to win the Super Bowl

I'll think about that play, and then I'll also think about how the vikings lost 38-7 in the next game when the saints should have been the ones playing it.

It will be a play Saints and Vikings fans remember. Just like Rams and Saints with Hakim dropping the ball. In 5 years fans from other teams really won’t give a shite about it though since Vikings didn’t do anything afterwards.

The “Minneapolis Miracle” only took 7 days to turn into the “Debacle on the Delaware.”

I think that this epic playoff beatdown will reduce the number of future references to The Miracle In Minny game.

Speaking for myself personally, I dare ANY Vikes fan to mention that game to my face. I will have a good laugh and then spend the next five minutes talking about today's Vikes game.
