This guy is stealing money from the Saints. Terrible contract on the Saints part.

You're the dumbass that thinks he doesn't want to compete. He fricked his toe up and our dumbass doctors tried to rehab it because he can miss up to 3 months after surgery.

This entire place makes assumptions on a guy that had a career/historic year AFTER getting paid and took bad medical advice. That it's from the saints med staff makes it all the more ridiculous that people are solely pinning this on Thomas.

He’s an injury prone prima donna. He does is no good if he’s always hurt. The Saints need do what they can to try and get rid of him.

He chose to ignore the doctors and not have surgery, which cost him the entire 2021 season. It was his fault.

It's called getting a 2nd opinion. He's allowed to do that.

That 2nd opinion resulted in the surgery happening right before the season. His choice, his fault.

There’s nothing to address. You’re simping for a dude who can’t even be bothered to show up.

ETA: Jamies on the bench and Michael Thomas opting out. Rough season for you there scooter.

Allegedly because they thought rehab would work, and it did not. MRI today showed almost no progress.

The same thing as the last fricking injury that last two years. Rehab forever, doesn't work, surgery.

If they had done surgery a month ago maybe he comes back this year.

This all makes sense if the Saints came out and laid out the plan a month ago...saying they are trying to avoid surgery but it's going to take a month to see if that's possible.

Instead, this news was nowhere to be found. Nobody in the press asked these questions (weren't allowed).

It's highly suspicious. Either the Saints organization is ridiculously horrible at PR (I can't discard this possibility) or there is/was a conflict between how the team wanted to handle the injury vs. how Thomas wanted to handle it (again) and the team suffered (again).

Should we be talking about the Doctors also? If MT refused treatment couldn’t that be considered a breach of contract if written in?

There’s nothing about him that deserves any hate.

Well, other than the fact that MT is a racist, narcissistic, selfish a-hole who threw Drew Brees under the bus, I mean yeah, he's great....

Not going to point fingers. Just time to move on from this guy. Cut him if you have to even. Wouldn't be the first bad decision we've made recently.
