Sure. Bone injuries rarely end careers. They heal strong.
Soft tissue on the other hand, like the ligaments in the big toe that get stretched, those don’t heal the same way. And once stretched, are much more prone to re-injury.
It’s not BS. It’s a thing.

I think it's time for a fresh start for him. It'd be ideal if the Saints could trade him to the Packers in the offseason for draft picks, though the injury complicates that.

LOl! The Saints are stuck with this fricker at least until next year. No team in their right mind would give up anything for a player that has not played in almost 3 years. I think MT is a cancer in the locker room and a player who cannot (or will not )play football.
