you could have put a brick wall 10 yards past the line of scrimmage as there was no point in any players on Defense being on the other side of that 10 yard area when Brees was on the field. noodle arm.

He's 100% right and the blame rests on Payton. It his job to play the best players that give you the best chance to win. He didnt do that playing a QB with a torn rotator cuff. The shoulder injury was never reported to the media or disclosed to the NFL league. Payton and the Saints should be fined for it.

Would it be too much to ask our $120 million man to be a leader and not sub tweet the best player in franchise history, who made him millions. Especially 7 days removed from an absolute no show, 0 catch performance in the biggest game of the year? Thanks

Thomas couldn't of run out of sight in a day after injury. He couldn't of gotten deep if Brees could throw it more than 11.5 yds. Deonte Harris though...

How can you read this and think he's talking about Brees if he's watching the game and tweeting?

Also, if it is about Brees, who's fault is that other than Brees?

If we're supposed to give Thomas a pass for being injured and excuse his public comments, then we should definitely forgive Brees his injuries.

The question really should be directed to Payton. Is a severely restricted Brees still better than fully healthy Winston??

Sounds like Brees was playing with a damaged rotator cuff that prevented him from making all the throws. The defenses clearly knew that and played accordingly.

Idk if this was ever mentioned on here, but I noticed that when Thomas caught his TD against Chicago, Brees did not run to the end zone and celebrate with him. Brees usually does that with his receivers.

What an idiot
Talking about the QB that allowed him to get that mega contract
The Payton offense can make a lot of WR's look better than they actually are
