His business by running out of bounds cost us the game.

He could have run more time off the clock and gotten the first down. WTF was that move. Just awful….

Clock doesn't stop on OOB at 6 min.

Dude, he would have gotten a 1st down and then the Saints could have basically killed the rest of the clock.

Bad teams and players that lack enthusiasm find ways to lose.

Unfortunately sometimes missing a game or two when things are like this is highly beneficial to the soul and others that love you.

Besides being past his time, does he really understand strategy and think what has to be done!

The Saints would have needed to get two first downs on their last two drivers to really put the game away and they didn't get any.

What's more important, if Ingram gets that first at the 42 instead of running out of bounds. The Saints would be in likely FG range with another 7 yards.

Sure it would have been nice to see him take the hit, but lets be fair.. He literally hobbled out of bounds, clearly in pain.
The bigger issue is this team’s inability to execute. We had a 3rd and 1 on their 44. 2 plays to pick up a frickin yard. What do we do? Incomplete pass and punt. To Tom Fricking Brady of all people. How many times do you have to let that fool beat you before you learn? If you give Brady a shot with enough time, you’re probably going to lose. Facts.

Ingram running OOB short of the 1st down was COWARDLY and an embarrassment.

The drive before that was also terrible. Dude catches a pass with no defender near him but he’s so fricking slow, they close in on him and tackle him 1 yard shy of the first.

There is 0 reason for him to be on this roster much less manufacturing touches for the guy. That falls on Pete though, he’s just as inept

Wanna to get really angry? Read Ingram's Twitter feed.

quote:

“I’m sick about this one,” Ingram wrote on Twitter. “Regardless of circumstances or how I feel I have to get that fresh set of downs for the squad. I apologize to my teammates my coaches and my city for a crucial mistake. We work way too hard and sacrifice blood sweat and tears. I will be better.”

I will not watch another game as long as he's on the roster. I'm SICK of him!

All he had to do was reach the ball out… he tucked it to his side and let his body go out before the ball. Idiotic

I said it weeks ago that we wasted a perfect opportunity to save face as a franchise by not placing him on IR while he was injured. In the first few games before the injury he looked slow, and had two fumbles, one of which directly cost us a game! He gets injured and has to miss several games, perfect reasoning to IR him and not be forced to cut him. Did they really expect a 32 year old running back, who was never known for his speed anyways, to come back and be fast after a slow start to the season a knee injury!!!!
Mark has always been a great guy, good teammate, but he needs to be cut today

Yeah, I mean Kamara does that all the time but I don't expect that of Ingram. No reason for it, he can get 2 or 3 more yards and still not take a hit there. Unfathomably poor effort and awareness and we get that first the games fricking over.

Doesn't excuse the other stupid stuff like 12 men on the field and the costly drops and the curious play we ran after that, but the fact remains....game over if he gets that first.

This is a very good point.
I would say 70 % of the NFL players have no idea about time management or strategy.

I can tell you that 50% NFL coaches don't understand time management.

If Ingram was "hurt" that's fine but Carmichael throwing on 3rd and 1 is ridiculous and a fireable offense. And if DA signed off on it he should be gone as well.

That would have resulted in a 1st down and clock running or a 4th down and clock running which they probably use a timeout.

We had 3 3rd and short last night and no taysom. We were perfect on 3rd and one until last week so let's completely change course.
