Allen saying "we have no young talent" is a direct indictment of Loomis as GM. The injuries to the team exposed how little depth and talent is on this roster, that falls squarely on the shoulders of Loomis. Couple that with his atrocious contract negotiations and you have a piss poor GM. If Brees and Payton never came to New Orleans, he would have been fired a long time ago.

Our receivers were Cedric Wilson and Scantling, who we just signed. I don't think his oblique muscle was the reason he didn't throw deep. Also, Brees was old and injured.
