I'm currently of the opinion that he's not good.

Everybody was dude. That was a pathetic team effort. Not one player played good.

Marcus Williams played way too close compared to last year.

Thats one thing I noted repeatedly

Actually he was very visible on several very bad plays. Invisible would've been a major upgrade and is often a positive for a DB.

I'm not quite ready to throw out an entire season of excellence based on one game indicating the contrary though.

I disagree. He made some very bad plays and took some terrible angles yesterday. He was playing way back and still not making plays. Reminded me of Byrd playing 25 yards of the line of scrimmage.

He was visible as Fitzpatrick was running his arse over to score a touchdown.

True, but at least it prevented their receivers from getting behind us...

Everyone keeps saying this or that player was shite. The whole D was terrible. Our all pro DE was terrible. We were soft yesterday and they wanted it more. That’s it. Hopefully our players can tighten up before they get cut.

The media and the Saints worked overtime this offseason trying to hype this kid back up. Saying he had the best camp out of anyone. It was a joint effort by both team and media to try to get this kids confidence back.

Two cents worth—
D was bad...
Didn’t get much pressure on QB..
Not nearly enough blitzing...
#20=2slicesburnedt0ast...
#20 was beaten like a drum(same as last season)...
#20 gave up penalties(same as last year)...
#20-why does Coach P allow this to continue???
My two(maybe five...sorry)cents...
WHO DAT...Browns are in trouble...

No one played well. Wish we made threads about how shitty Klein, Rankins, Davison, Jordan and Lattimore played too. They all sucked.

Lattimore didn’t look much better then 20. You guys are overreacting on the players. Yes the intensity wasn’t there, but neither was the aggressive play calling on defense that allowed them to make plays and play with swag last year... Not to mention that Fitz and the Tampa Bay WR’s were playing lights out, like no BAD passes and no bad drops.

The play last year can break a career. Not a good start

He really stood out, in terms of awfulness. Struggled in all phases, including run support.

Invisible for a DB is generally a very good thing, unless said db just isn't playing. Invisible for a front 7 guy, terrible.
Just trying to help

Sheldon Rankins is a knockoff of Sed Ellis Senior Bowl style. Dominate for a few days in one-on-one drills = Profit.

at least we didn't trade up for Rankins like we did with Ellis.
