Anyone with common sense isn’t against them saying “We matter too.” The criminal opportunist during the protest are the problem. Closed minded people thinking both are one and the same is just as big of a problem.

There are non-blacks walking side by side with black people in the name of BLM. Without researching that “sub human” paraphrase that you’ve mentioned, it’s obvious that their group isn’t based in racism. I’m sure that just like any other organization, some get more extreme in their thoughts, and have to rilled in.
Edit: after searching, the statement was made by a Canadian off shoot of the group, the affirmation is by name only.
