Right. I heard Morestead on the radio a couple of months ago, not too long after the “incident,” and he said the same thing—that they were much closer after having a big team meeting where everybody got to voice their opinions and they talked it out.
One thing I fricking hate is people being offended on another person’s or group’s behalf. Pisses me right off, like I’m sure it does many of you guys. Sometimes you have to destroy an unjust thing. Drew Brees, being white, had impure thoughts, that while not criminal ( yet ) clearly deserved criticism, shaming, bullying and personal destruction. I’m not saying we should kill him for his racist thought crimes ( yet ) but it’s important he be brought to heel, think and speak correctly and devote the rest of his life to Black Lives Matter principles like REPARATIONS for past and continuing crimes against black people by racist whites ( redundant).

After Brees apologized it was pretty obvious the team would be closer as a result. The Saints are full of high character guys, especially the leaders, so no one should be surprised by this.

Still wondering what Jenkins said that made him racist? I re-watched both his videos after Drew was hoodwinked by the Yahoo FINANCIAL reporter. He literally spoke against racist acts, black military members returning to racism after fighting for their country, and the murder of George Floyd. He did get carried away telling Drew to stfu.
