If Davenport could just stay healthy that trade would look amazing. The guy is a beast when he’s healthy. It sucks he can’t stay on the field though.

He was the best and most complete WR on that team the last 2 seasons

the Saints, Lions and Eagles all traded up to get a WR. And the Eagles missed out. So no he wouldn't have been there at 16. Bad take

Jameson got height, speed and good hands ? Chris alive lacks in 2 of those areas

I'm real interested in what 2 of those areas he lacks vs Williams.

Thanks for the stats GS. Probably won't matter to the complainers.

Best route runner in the draft. Love the pick.

You know what the eagles would have drafted? Please give more insight

And Detroit may have loved the WR from Bama.

So yeah he still would have been there at 16

Williams is 6’ 1 1/2”
Olave is 6’ 3/8”

Williams is 179 lbs
Olave is 187 lbs

Williams dropped 7.7% of his targets
Olave dropped 4.7% of his targets

Williams has a torn ACL
Olave ran 4.39

I think he’s an elite slot receiver at worst. At best he’s got Justin Jefferson vibes.

It won't. There's probably people who before the draft wanted Olave, but now are complaining that we took him. I wouldn't be surprised.

There's a run on receivers now so it seem like the saints sensed that and made a move

Correct. The Saints read the board correctly.

The only question is Olave vs Williams.

Personally, I wanted Williams.

Don’t be so obtuse. WR was and still is a well known need to the Eagles.

I don't get the infatuation with this dude. Nice to see even with Sean Payton retired the Saints still love making the most boneheaded trade ups in the draft.

Have you been paying attention for the last couple months? Have you been watching the draft? Maybe your TV was muted. I trust all the experts over you.

If you’re an elite prospect, and you come back for your senior year

And you play with multiple Heisman finalists

You should have a 1 1000 season. Even if you miss a few games.

Trading up for a guy who was good not dominant.

That’s what I’m hoping for…I was a bigger fan of Wilson though

I don’t think he busts just not sure he’s a gotta move up for type guy. Is he that much better than Dotson or even Bell from Purdue ? I’m not so sure

Olave also ran a 4.39 at the combine as well.
