Demario Davis is a better LB imo

Honestly though, his reading of our offense is a big reason it was so unsuccessful. There is a reason Drew praises him in that manner. He gives Drew and Payton fits, because he seemingly can't be tricked.

not every LB does that.

Ya know, this could just be the homer in me, but I heard the announcers say this shite last night, then play the clip, and not once did I hear luke say what our playcall was... it was more like he was shouting out their defensive playcall to his teammates after he checked in/out of something

Keuchly is a great LBer, no doubt, but the slobberfest was (predictably) over the top

I agree with this

but you have to admit, when Brees is on, they are slobbering all over him too.

But we love that

He's close though. He's no dummy and it helps to have a Thomas davis back there with him and a Julius Peppers on the line

He’s a smart player and a great instinctive linebacker. He plays us a lot so he knows our tendencies but he didn’t “know every play.” He knew he was mic’ed up so he was playing to the audience. Even so he said “I’ve got a great feel for what they’re doing” he didn’t say “I know what plays they’re going to run.”

Regardless, I really don’t like playing that guy

How I feel.

Show me clips of him calling out the plays before it happens at the line. All i saw was him say he knows these guys and what they will do and then nothing

And frick him for trying to end Kamara's season. I hope we go after his legs in the last game with some 3rd string backup

Statistically you are correct, but other than interceptions, which is a big deal don't get me wrong, they aren't that much different statistically.

DD over last 2 years 167 tackles, 9 sacks, 0 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles, and 7 pass deflections

LK over last 2 years 162 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 4 interceptions, 3 forced fumbles, and 10 pass deflections

I just feel I'd rather have DD with lack of injuries in the past unlike the concussions with LK. So my comment played more into who I'd rather have but I wouldn't argue with someone saying LK is better, I really like LK.

He goes back and forth between WLB and MLB. He is listed on most websites that I've seen as MLB. I realize he started the season off at WLB but he plays both like I said. If he was full time MLB I feel his stats would be even better.

I don't know where he ranks, but that ankle tackle on Kamara with a crocodile roll was intentionally trying to injure a player.

The linebacker was calling out plays the Saints were running throughout the night. Even though this is a bi-annual occurrence, it remains an impressive spectacle whenever it happens.

They still lost. frick em.

He should be calling out his own QB.

The panthers were playing for their season at home against a divisional opponent ranked first in the NFL and Cam Newton would rather dance around like a selfish a-hole after getting a first down instead of getting into the huddle and running a play costing them a timeout before the half and killing their momentum.

Cam Newton is such a piece of shite football player and human being.

I've seen some bad takes on this board but this one takes the cake. The guy is consistently a top 2 linebacker in the league when healthy.

Just an observation on Keuchly. Did anyone also notice on the final Saints drive at around the three minute mark and it looked like Kamara might break a big gain but Keuchly brought him down by his foot. Keuchly gave Kamara's foot an additional twist at the end of that play. It looked a little suspect to me, but maybe I am over reacting.

Keuchly is an average NFL linebacker, and I really don't understand why people droll over him. Before the game, Booger did a piece on his high effort plays...which was basically him chasing down a RB 20 yds downfield because he either line up wrong, got blocked, or flat out torched. Then they were drooling over his high football IQ because of all the stuff he does and says pre-snap. He would occasionally make one or two presnap calls....like every MLB in the NFL...WHAT AM I MISSING HERE?!?

Dude is a good LB. He makes some tackles near the line of scrimmage. Other tackles he makes (which adds to his total) are made like after 8 to 9 yard gains. So congrats to him I guess for "knowing what the Saints are going to do."
