Justin fields traded to Pittsburgh?

Why wouldn't the saints be willing to trade a sixth rd pick for Justin fields? Feels like we really dropped the ball on this one.

He hasn't shown me anything that says we had to go get him. He also doesn't really fit the offensive system we'll have.

The last year on his contract and you'd have to pay him next year to stay

Shows you what the league thinks of him. Don't get hung up on where a guy was drafted. NFL literally believes he has less value than Jake Haener or even Stetson Bennet, dollar for dollar.

a sixth rounder wouldn't hurt my feelings if they did it, but Fields has only won 10 games as a starter in 3 years.

And he won’t see the field over Carr, so you’d have to pay him without ever truly seeing him in the system
