Is Anyone Else Really Not That Upset?

I think this all goes back to last year. Like many Saints fans last year kind of broke me. I think it made me realize I care too much about grown men who make millions playing a game who are going to be smiling and laughing leaving the field win or lose.
This whole year I could never get as excited as I used to after a big win. I watched most of the games but didn't go to a sports bar like I used to and wasn't too disappointed if I missed a game. Even 2 or 3 years ago I would've absolutely never missed a game unless I just had no choice.
In some ways it makes it better. I'm honestly not at all upset. A few years back I would be losing it right now and I'l be pissed until after the Super Bowl. Honestly today I just turned it off and could care less. I think part of it for me is also because it was painfully obvious we weren't going to beat the 49ers and probably had little chance to beat the Packers in Green Bay.
It probably also doesn't help that my check engine light came on in my car last night and I could be looking at costly repairs, lol. That distracted me and my heart just wasn't in it today.
Anyone else feeling the same way? Just numb to it?

I’m with you. Never thought this was a super bowl team.

I wanted to win but I’m not letting this ruin my day.

Nah it sucks man we have a good team and I've always wanted to see the Saints play a big playoff game at Lambeau

I’m really not. I kind of expected it. No one was talking about the Vikings. #3 seed is a curse.

I keep asking myself why I care so much. Watching the Saints isn’t even a fun experience for me anymore. Just anxiety and agony

As long as LSU wins I'm Golden baby

I was pretty mad 5 minutes ago but losing last minute playoff games has become the norm now.
Drew played bad, missed FG at the end of half, just a whole team loss

I’m not really emotionally invested with the Saints. LSU on the other hand....

I expected this. SP teams are chokers

I’m already over it
It’s only a wildcard loss, so there was less on the line
You just move on
Saints will be in SB next year

If the Saints are in the playoff, you should always expect to lose in humiliating fashion and be pleasantly surprised if it doesn't happen.

100% in agreement. The no call broke me. I’m somewhere between a casual and die hard fan now. Idk what you call that. But I’m moving on with my day now. Just don’t care enough to sulk

I kind of expect it at this point in my life. Plus, I still have to go to work tomorrow when all of these millionaire divas get to sit on their arse for the next six months.

If it didn't happen this week, it was going to happen next week.
Defense has been atrocious all season

Not to mention, the dome seemed off today. Not loud at all on tv.

Winning a SB broke me from getting too upset, 2011 loss to 49ers was the nail in the coffin.

I'm good. I stopped caring after last year.
