He barely played today and still had a half sack. Not sure what people are freaking out about. He had terrific production for his snap count as a rookie and the staff was confident enough in him to send Okafor packing. What am I missing here?

It was laughable the Saints gave an extra number 1 pick for a project D lineman in the first place

Didn’t get to see much of the game but I was disappointed he was playing so late. Shows he’s just not getting it.. I don’t think he can get worse than last year so a healthy him is a good enough for me. he can get at least 7 sacks.

I’m trying to figure out the melt? He played fine tonight. 2 QB hits and .5 a sack. One hit led to an INT

He absolutely worked over the Chargers LT that led to an int

He needs to play the whole game next week and give us a real idea of what we can expect from him the rest of the season. I am so far disappointed in his play.

Did you not watch him last year before he got hurt? He provided plenty of those moments

He still has the potential to be a very solid player at a crucial position, imo. It’s too early to throw in the towel.

I’m not worried Davenport. He’s a certified beast. His game will come around.

The lack of practice report buzz doesn’t worry me because most beat writers are idiots that have no clue what they’re looking at anyway.

No one buzzes about d linemen. The last I remember was Walter Thomas.

I've heard zero camp buzz about Cam Jordan. I guess he's a bust too.

It’s been pretty damn obvious we’re not just in “win now mode” yet this board pushes this term so hard.

You're wasting your breath. These people don't care about reality or reasonableness. They did the same thing with Ingram.

Davenport actually PRODUCED in this game and they are acting like he did absolutely nothing. They expect 2 sacks a game and shear dominance from a guy that has played 7 games.

Player development takes time, and he has produced more sacks than Cam Jordan did at the same time in their careers.

One of my least favorite memes.

The team will still exist after Brees retires.

Still hard to figure out why they gave up so much for a “project.“

He had 4.5 sacks last year in only 7 games.

If he had played let's say 14 games last year in the regular season and had 8 sacks...

Would we even be having this conversation.

I think people don't realize that 4.5 sacks in 7 games is pretty damn good.

Injuries happen. Let's see what he does over the next two seasons and then talk.
