As a charter member of #TeamDav, I’m worried

I was hoping for a 2nd year boost. I was hoping for quotes about how good he looks at practice and how he’s taken a big step. I was hoping for splash preseason plays.

Ain’t seen none of that.

Am I overreacting?

No he’s look like shite and has nothing but a bull rush. I don’t understand how they didn’t work with him on pass rushing moves

Hendrickson looks better; more explosive.

You’re not overreacting, but it was well known he was going to be a project and we probably are another year from seeing him at his full potential.

Now that said, the Saints had no business trading 76 1st round picks for a DE when they are in a win now mode with Brees.

I’m going to wait for the regular season when he’s playing with the starters all game before making up my mind.

he had same amount of sacks his first year as clowney in his second year. step off the ledge. do not follow the clowns here like volkodumbassby. lets se what happens. this baord is the perfect description of jumping to conclusions without enough evidence. give him time.

I agree. It’s worrisome. But lets let him play opposite Cam for a couple of games first.

well we needed pass rushing from someone else bad. however your argument has merit in relation to where we are with brees and development time with dav. maybe we shoulda gotten a FA at DE and drafted a stud WR? look at our WR mess now. quantity means nothing without quality past MT. hope somebody steps up. dangerous roll of dice by payton.

He’s played about a total of 3 quarters with a handful of pass rush situations. I’m constantly amazed at how much stock people take into the preseason.

Melvin, it’s the lack of positive practice reports that’s more worrisome

and then it’ll be “let’s see what he can do next season after a full year playing without injury” or if he get injured it’ll be “he can’t develop because he’s hurt”
