Fist time in quite awhile , I am not sure what we have. Kind of on the fence.

Maybe it is because we no longer have Drew.

Maybe it was the talking heads slobbering all over Falcons and Panthers draft . A few for Tampa

Don't have the confidence in this draft like I have had in the past drafts

I believe we got a couple of solid guys , but nothing dazzling to me.

I get I am not a pro and don't see evaluations, but can't help feel being excited for this draft at first and then gradually being let down over the last few days.

Anybody else feel this way ???

I love the first 3 picks and think all 3 of those guys can contribute immediately the way we will need them too.

Turner will be our 3rd DE and will see a lot of snaps this year spelling Cam and Davenport but is also big enough to be featured in Express packages with all of them on the field at the same time

Werner will have every chance to beat out Baun for our 2nd LB spot and I anticipate that happening due to Werner being projected as the better pass defender

and unless Sean can sweet talk Richard Sherman...Adebo will most likely earn the 2nd CB spot in TC

I would have liked to have come away with Tylan Wallace or Tommy Togai in round 4 but both were snatched right before our pick. I am not big on Book and would have preferred Brevin Jordan just to solidify the TE position with quality depth personally

everything after that I dont care about. those are just dart board throws generally.

Why bc some analysts that never put on a uniform or was a coach or was a GM told you that some guys was more valuable than the guys we picked?

I’m kinda disappointed in this draft. Made a thread about it. I really liked the panthers draft and Falcons draft was the best they had in awhile. Guess we will see

The panthers had a great draft.

This was our 1st round pick that we reached for. That’s how you should feel.
The CB and the WR are the only ones that intrigue me. I hope the rest shock me.

I think it's hard to grade this draft; 2020 was a weird, disjointed college season. Wasn't a regular schedule, didn't have normal routines, some programs (and players) expected to do well never got their footing.

A BYU qb went 2nd in the draft, after leading his team to an 11-1 season... against zero P5 teams. Who knows how he'd have looked against better competition?

The Falcons and Panthers are terrible and in line to get the best available and “sexiest” players. The media would be slobbering over the Saints if we got Pitts but we’d be picking at 4.

Tampa are the champs with Brady. They can do no wrong and at the moment deserve the media adoration.

When I was young I used to study draft grades and get so mad when some idiot grades my team’s draft low. But then I realized it’s a process and no one knows what they have until about 3 years down the line.

Right now everyone should get an incomplete grade. Including those who “won” the draft.

This is easily my favorite draft in 8 years.

I am so dam pumped.

And in addition, who we got as UDFA so far. .

Maybe I’ll look like an idiot. But I trust SP and if he hits on two of these guys, especially QB, this could be one that makes the espn idiots look like fools.

This is the most content I’ve felt in a while. It seems like they knew who they wanted, got guys in positions of need, and didn’t go into next year’s picks at all.

Saints didn't do anything right, we waited months for nothing, not 1 LSU Tiger pretty disappointing

Literally one of the highest rated drafting teams in recent years but as earned no benefit of the doubt

We literally drafted some high character, interesting players with potential

Ah, there it is.

I'm glad we didn't barter future picks to move up like we have in year's past, and yes, we did get guys at positions of need, like CB, LB, WR, QB... but it seems like every pick was more about trying to find that sleeper/small school hero, vs. the more known commodity....

I'm cautiously optimistic, bc they've done well in the previous couple of drafts, but I dunno... this could be a very boom or bust type of draft...

The Saints never draft well. They do better with Free Agency and Undrafted Free agents.

We didn’t get much better than we were last week. The CB pick was a good value but that’s the only pick we did a good job on and it cost us more than just 1 pick.

It’s clear we had the worst draft of any team(Texans just as bad also)... no guarantee any of these dudes will even be second on the depth chart ... the CB going more than likely going play a lot simply because we need bodies at the position

People slobber over the Falcons draft every single year because they always pick the sexy picks. Oh wow, finally grabbed a lineman in the 3rd round. They’ve neglected their lines for what seems like a decade now. Pitts will be a good player for an 8-8, 9-7 team and that’s it
