If the Saints make the playoffs what are the odds they advance past the first round?

The rams are obviously a very talented team but Matthew Stafford has been struggling and the Saints as been playing great all year. It will probably be a low-scoring game if the saints are going to win.

Depends on who they play.

We can only play the Rams if we are to make the playoffs.

I would be worried about our O line against Donald.

35.0% (legit) chance of moving on.

We’d have to beat the Rams on the road, then the Packers in Lambeau in January and all that just to get to the nfc championship game. Would still only be halfway thru the playoffs if we miraculously made it that far. I’m rooting for us to win and make the playoffs this weekend but realist in me knows we’re not going anywhere in the postseason. Our PS offense is dog sh—.

Defense travels and we play better on the road. I don't think we make it far, but I could easily see us beating the Rams

That's not being a realist. A realist knows that we've already beat Green Bay once and Tampa Bay twice. A realist knows our defense is a championship defense a realist knows we have a chance if we get in. There's no reason to think we can't do it. Doesn't mean we will, but to say there's no chance is just being unrealistic.

I'm not saying to go bet your house on the Saints, but claiming we have no shot is not being realistic.

If McCoy is healthy and can help our guards out with Donald I would feel decent about that game.

Ruiz vs Donald in any capacity scares me immensely.

Should the Saints make the playoff's it will mean the Rams have won 6 straight games.

The Saints defense (assuming they are healthy and not missing guys out with a cold) always gives the Saints a puncher's chance. But you have to think the Saints will need to score over 20 to have a real shot at winning the game. That looks like a lot to ask considering they've only scored more than 20 once in the last 6 games. That was against the Jets.

The good news is that SoFi Stadium doesn't exactly seem like the most daunting road venue.

With Covid, Roger and Brandon lurking I'll go 75.38% chance to advance. Based on science of course.

5-10% to beat Packers in Lambeau

Maybe 25%? Probably lower, I'm being a little homerish.

Our D is incredible which always travels, but our Offense is just not good enough. It is really, really shitty. If we could run the ball at all maybe it would be higher but we can't do that either.

We just won't be able to score enough points.

I’d lmao if the Saints make it further this year than all those failed attempts with Brees.

If we get one of our tackles back I'd say 50/50 chance

If we get both of our tackles back I'd say 60 percent chance

If we get neither of our tackles back... it's going to be tough because our OL is going to get destroyed. Gotta hope for some short fields and maybe a pick 6 in a 13-10 type game.

About as good as the odds of me bumping uglies with Paige Spirinak.
