This is an unpopular opinion these days but the man brought our franchise back from the brink. Let him have a final season

That OP can 100% only come from a dude who never played sports before.

Either that, or he's just having a bad moment in his feelings and he doesn't mean it.

He wasn't good, that's irrelevant to making fun of the OP's take.

Played 3. I 100% mean it.

Did you watch that game?

120 penalties
13 minute TOP difference
34 points given up.

But Drew needs to retire.

Exactly

We are acting like Drew has never had a bad game before

He should have retired before this season as now any political ambition he had is done due to his bowing to the Democrat socialist marxists.

I don't believe you.

Either that or a 3rd option I missed, you had zero competitive drive in the sports you played. Or less than zero.

I don’t think it’s that he wasn’t good, I think it’s that he wasn’t physically capable.

What's your solution?

He very clearly can't throw the ball down the field (hell past 10 yards) accurately/consistently.

Saints aren't going to win a lot of games with that.

There will be players on this team that publicly turn on him.

This is going to get worse if the team doesn't turn it around in the near future.

I mean, I 100% have concerns. I don't think it's a wrap, but I have my concerns.

But even if he's done, the idea that a guy with his track record is going to have the self awareness to think he can't get it done is just absurd. I have irrational confidence when it comes to my abilities playing sports, and I never remotely sniffed a pro or even college team, now imagine Drew Brees.

The real problem is that he isn't processing information like he usually does. He doesn't look comfortable. That's why he's checking down constantly.

312 yards on 68% completion

He wasn't a world beater by any stretch, but he was far more than serviceable. Inability to get off the field defensively and penalties lost that game, not Brees. Saying otherwise is not about football, but rather personal agenda.
