No!

Just an opinion, but I think he should have transferred if a better opportunity was there and played another year in college.

Maybe that was something he explored and couldn't find what he was looking for? I don't really know where Florida is headed currently but he went ahead and bolted from there. Makes you wonder.

eams saw what the Eagles were able to do with Jalen Hurts and will want to mold Richardson into the same thing, if not better.

Jalen Hurts is a special dude with maybe the best work ethic in the NFL. Guy legit turned himself from a below average passer to a good one, worked on his body to make himself strong as hell and just seems like a good dude.

Anthony Richardson came out of college after a year of things not going his way to try and get paid

I keep reading how he is mocked to go in the top 10. Last year Willis was mocked in the top 10 along with Ridder. Mock drafts do not mean anything. It would not surprise me if Richardson goes in the 3rd or 4th round. That is what the tape says. People keep saying you have to take him because his is so athletic. Well the tape shows he is athletic. It also shows him throwing to the other team way to often.

The Malik Willis hype was certainly out of control. I don’t remember there being such an excess amount of buzz consistently around Ridder however.

I remember the hype around Willis because he checked so many boxes and you had a lot of the "experts" talking about how teams can coach him up to be a great one.... So, sounds like a little about what I'm reading about Richardson; although, I am not really following the draft/offseason too much this year.

I remember Ridder being linked in the 1st, but like you don't recall him w/ any buzz in the top 10. Maybe 1-2 mocks?

Don't assume he is garbage just because Florida was garbage.

I saw enough of him to know he is not good. The measurable are good but his play is not.

Saints have no business drafting a crappy college qb in hopes they can develop him.

Why in the hell woukd he do that? I saw a mock this morning with the man going number one overall. Some stupid team will still pick him in the top 15, yiu don’t even think of going back to college if you going that high.

Josh Allen sucked until he didn't. You have to take him.

Lol. Josh Allen never sucked, it was a question of his accuracy coming out of college, but he knew the position and played it well in college.

A lot of knowledgeable pro personnel people blamed his horrible receivers for his accuracy numbers being so bad.

Turns out they were right.

Any thought to being pressured on 37% of his drop backs behind a horrid OL?

That’s 121 of his 327 attempts

ETA: just so we are clear, Malik Willis was 6’ (6%tile height for a QB) 219 lb (41%) with below average handsize. Not sure why he is being brought up, especially since he was never expected to be good year 1

Or he can't recognize a blitz to save his life. He missed wide open dudes all the time. If the Saints draft him we're absolutely fricked.

You carried on for months defending Winston of these things. The difference here is one isn’t an 8 year vet. There would be reasons he’s available at 29 as there is a lot work to be done to get him ready

I think taking a guy like AR is a complete waste of Pete Carmichael and Dennis Allen are developing him.

I just don’t see it working out at all in the CSP lite offense. If we had a Reid or Daboll type guy then roll the dice for sure.
