Don’t be such losers. None of it changes the fact that there was zero excuse for us to not be playing in the super bowl right now. We lost to a team that got dry dicked tonight

GFY. I'm definitely not celebrating that they lost, but I am very happy that they got Skol fricked.

I don’t know. The Vikings got that arse spanked. I couldn’t help, but laugh.

The loss made my weekend. Proud to be the 100th downvote to this thread.

If the Saints who were on the field in 2009-2011 were participating in a legit bounty scheme, they were strangely terrible at it.

Non-homer statistical analysis

Also:

Minny -- Abbreviated form of Minnesota
Minnie -- Giggly cartoon mouse

You're welcome.

2 excuses:

1. The super bowl isn't right now
2. The eagles are really fricking good.

That game would've been a dog fight.

As it pertains to OP, i'm not "celebrating" a vikings loss but I was certainly rooting for the Eagles to beat the Vikings. In my fan opinion, a Vikings loss makes the Diggs play less relevant to each franchise moving forward. Eases the pain ever so slightly. I didn't want Minnesota to get a home dome superbowl at part due to miraculous play against us.

As it pertains to bounty gate, Foles had some bruised ribs after the game yesterday. I guess that means minny had a bounty too.

This is the gayest thread in history.

Some real pussies to be all worked up over a coach saying affect the head. Every sack on a quarterback I've just about ever seen the defender was trying to break him.

That is the goal. This game has become so pussified we actually have people complaining about a team trying to win the game by making sure the opposing teams quarterback gets blasted as often as possible.

I went back and watched the replay of the game in 09 and only one damn tackle was objectionable and it was Hargrove on the tackle of Favre in the 3rd quarter.

But, even Aikman found the penalty pathetic. Obviously he has seen it and been apart of it as a player.

Or worse, we would have been the Vikings, rolling into Philly, over confident and hyped by the media who were salivating for a Brees vs Brady Super Bowl.

And walking right into a buzz saw of a very motivated team to proved the doubters wrong.

How delusional do you have to be to think bounty gate wasn’t real? We literally took the qb out in 2 of 3 playoff games. If we were Vikings fans we’d be complaining about all the cheap shots the saints took

Actually, we took out one QB. Farve never left the game and made a dumb play at the end...which is why they lost.

Warner got taken out on a clean shot. He was running after a defender after a interception. What do you expect?

Also, we didn't take Farve out of the game. The Vikings game definitely had a few missed calls on both sides. Unfortunately for the Vikings, those missed calls were one or two late hits that were barely even late. Suck it up, missed calls happen from time to time. And just because they had like two late hits doesn't mean there was a bounty program. In fact, if I remember correctly, we were one of the least penalized teams that year. Which is not something I'd expect from a team trying to hurt opposing players every week.

Are you like a 12 year old still learning about football? You are completely delusional and clueless if you think Bountygate was real. My guess is that you did not even watch those games. STFU.

I'm celebrating the win because I had a bundle on the Eagles on the ML.

Better still, if you thought that original line was giving money away...the Vikings were 6 point favorites in the halftime bets!

Actually, both Favre and Warner returned in those games. So, there goes that narrative.

Seriously, how old were you when momma dropped you on your head? Asking for a friend...
