Found it, GW said that not Payton, I asssumed SP b/c you said our coach so my bad. Where is proof of an actual bounty system and not stupid comments made by a defensive football coach. We had a coach in junior high that wanted us to take a RBs knees out since he had just had a knee injury. None of us tried at all to hurt his knees intentionally

How delusional do you have to be to think bounty gate wasn’t real? We literally took the qb out in 2 of 3 playoff games. If we were Vikings fans we’d be complaining about all the cheap shots the saints took
frick you. I'm tired of all of you jealous bitches telling lies about the Saints. "Bountygate" was and always will be one of the worst injustices ever accomplished by the NFL front office.

Go somewhere else and tell someone how to act, dummy.

Renee, I found a link. I was just interested as I had forgotten that comment was made. You will not find proof on BG, the former commissioner mocked it, a judge mocked it, NFLPA president mocked it, and current and former players even mocked it. And that was all after the NFL released the evidence

We’ve all heard that audio

It’s not proof enough for you?

You sound like a fun time at a party.

Um no. Did you not play football? I heard that audio 100 times during the scandal.

and yet we never caused any career-threatening injuries to anyone...
You do realize American football is a contest of focused brutality, right? Lines of 300+ lb mountains of muscle blast into each other each and every play, every defender's goal is to hit the ball-carrier so hard he fumbles, and each player seeks to physically dominate the other side. And the offense is equally brutal.
These guys spend the majority of their workdays getting as buffed up as possible in order to both overcome the opponent, and to withstand the blows they take.
And the teams put their best out there. If by chance someone has to come out, that team is at a disadvantage. If you can temporarily hurt someone, you gain the upper hand. There's nothing wrong with doing that within the rules laid out, as long as there's no permanent damage. EVERY defense would like to knock the opposing QB out of the game legally, every offense plans intricate ways to protect him every play.
The Saints did not cheap-shot anyone in the playoffs, they did attempt to knock the stuffing out of people. Those teams wanted to do the same thing to us.
