Super Bowl LIV: Saints 40, Chargers 33
In a meeting of the No. 1 (Saints) and No. 2 (Chargers) offenses in the NFL, Brees is back on top. A decade after he and Payton beat Peyton Manning and the Colts in Super Bowl XLIV, the duo get it done again. It's heartbreak for Rivers, having come so close to finally winning that elusive championship, but he comes up a touchdown short. He says you'll have to simulate the offseason to find out whether he's coming back for a 17th season at 38 years old, but FPI leaves us at the Saints' victory parade down Bourbon Street.

Saw they got the Saints losing at home to Jax 42-17. WTF.

It also had us losing to the Cardinals. I read through it all, and while I would be pumped if the final was correct, I would have a couple of nervous breakdowns along the way.

If we lose at home top the jags 42-17 this board will explode

We don’t even play the jags at home

They think the Texans beat us this week by 1 point in a shootout. I think it's going to be low scoring and maybe a little sloppy at times for both offenses but the Saints heat up and put them away in the 2nd half. They referenced the week 1 loss against Tampa last year, but the Texans have a better defense than the Bucs did and our defense is deeper going into week 1 this year.
Losing to the Jags in Jacksonville isn't a ludicrous prediction but getting the doors blown off by them is.
Arizona is going to be garbage this season. Should drop 40+ on them.
Splitting with Atlanta is good possibility.
Losing to Chicago wouldn't shock me at all even if the game is in the dome. That defense is scary. Oddly enough they have them only winning 8 games and missing the playoffs, which is silly. They only need to play average on offense to win games with that defense.

I mean I'm trying to remember the worst losses under Payton and I struggle to recall a time we lost by more than maybe 3 TDs. A 25 point home loss seems ludicrous, especially to the Jags (and Foles whom we always foil).
Edit:
I see the at home part was wrong. Even on the road I don’t see that bad a loss.

Relax saints fans..its only an OPINION...Nobody knows who will win the SB..

It’s not even an opinion. It’s a computer simulation that they ran 20,000 times then picked a random one.

Some of ya'll get caught up too much into ESPN...

I'd love that matchup. Great storyline w/ Brees-Rivers (who I'd love see make the SB at least once in his career), Chargers are a fun team to watch and a classy organization, and their 15 fans aren't going to travel to that game, meaning more tickets for Saints fans.

Keyshawn Johnson picked up this morning on the local LA sport station, which also happens to be the broadcast home of the Rams. His co-hosts were not happy with him.

The Rams shouldn't have even been in the Super Bowl last season. Everyone knows this, even the Rams, who went on to post one of the worst SB performances ever.
