I mean what did Brees just teach his sons?

Who cares.

Drew is a solid guy & how he chooses to raise his sons is not our concern. Hopefully he’s raising them not to be like the majority of posters on this board.

Terrible thing to apologize because someone was offended.

Drew was offended at what they did but they said frick your feeling and made him apologize.

He will never write that book. He is a savvy business guy and as long as he owns businesses he will shy away from divisive opinions

Well he’s probably lost his announcing gig.

He apologized but didn’t take back his stance.

The problem was never his personal stance. It was his comments about other players that got him in trouble.

Drew is about to learn a lesson.

This will not matter at ALL to this scum. He will be forever hated for a truly innocuous moment.

Apologizing is dumb, the people will still be mad at you and the one's supporting you will get mad you caved.

Drew needs a new PR person.

What mistake?

Be very specific. At least 100 words on it.

You probably shouldn’t talk about somebody showing their arse considering you are the guy who comes on here every time a game goes poorly and wants every coach fired.

Getting passionate about a game in the moment really isn’t the same as not understanding why Brees’ comments were tone-deaf and needed an apology.

Glad to see you’re still a fricking moron though.

Drew did exactly what the NFl did, he has now managed to piss off both sides

The woke side still will hate him. If his 20 years of actions didnt stop them from dragging him through the mud this little apology wont either. There is no going back.
But now the other side that supported him for having an opinion will be mad he caved

Brees not standing up for his beliefs and instead electing to bow down to the mob is so disappointing.

What a coward

I thought his apology was sincere. However, I lost respect for him making it. I was hoping he would have stood by his conviction. I guess there were P.R. implications to consider, especially with that NBC contract he signed.

This is going to set such a dangerous precedent. If Drew was bullied and ridiculed for this after everything he has done for the city over the past 10+ years and being the model citizen he is, no one is safe. All your good deeds don’t mean shite in the end apparently. One harmless comment can ruin it all. What a world we are living in.

Drew caved. So predictable.

If anyone didn’t expect a swift apology from Brees then they’re just as tone deaf as his comments were yesterday.
