Honestly I’m ok with that, but especially I would like to get Bijan Robinson if we can, even move up a bit for him. AK is gonna be suspended and even back, he’s not the workhorse. Would love to get the best RB in the draft

He’s crazy good but this is one of the deepest Rb drafts in a long time. Our best bet is to sign a vet min veteran and draft a guy. That can get us through the AK suspension and hopefully set us up for the future. Kamara still has some gas left Imo

They had about the same QB ranking this year.

What about last year? Derek Carr can make throws Andy Dalton simply can't. That's the difference. There's a higher ceiling for good Carr vs good Dalton.

It’s deep, but I would rather get the best of the best. Other pick is the G from Florida, build the OLine. Then try to get Vaughn or Evan’s in the draft.

We can chalk off the idea of drafting a QB now, right?

It’s not perfect but it’s better than what we had and now I don’t have to pretend to be excited about Hendon Hooker

That ceiling isn’t a championship ceiling so why waste the money?

But not good enough to win at the highest level and will destroy the Saints cap for the next 10 years but hey, better than Dalton.

I’m getting pretty excited, ngl. He’s a real qb for sure. Be fun to at the very least be wildcard caliber. I’m all in.

What else were we supposed to do? Trot Anthony Richardson out there or Dalton and Winston? Maybe Hill? Lol

The Saints are so fortunate that the dumbass Raiders played this out this way. Thank you Chargers and Raiders for giving this franchise veteran QB talent. It's so damn rare that you get this shite without paying out a ton of assets.

I'm excited to see what Carr can do when he has a defense that is actually worth a flip.

Yea, you do what most bad, aging rosters in cap hell do. You cut bait and start over. Get rid of bad contracts, and start over getting younger and try to get an early draft pick to draft and elite qb and have him on a rookie deal. Instead of keeping kicking the can down the road with a mediocre qb and no cap space and aging overpaid players everywhere.

Spot on. This is how you dwell in mediocrity before eventually bottoming out. Haslett years 2.0 and will eventually end up the exact same way.

Most overused term among NFL fans.

The saints are never going to go in to rebuilding mode. So many franchises try to "rebuild" and get stuck in sub .500 purgatory.

The best thing to do is just fill holes and try to compete year in and year out. Rebuilding is for loser franchises. The Saints aren't that anymore
