Agreed. Overrated and often invisible since then.

I’m sure the saints wanted onyemata, but not at 12 million per.

Regardless, good for him for getting paid. Always did his job, and was never a problem.

aside from being banned for using PEDs or whatever, yeah.

I can't imagine paying a soon to be 31 year old 3/35mil though. The issue is, we have nobody on our DI to even come close to doing what he could

I'm ok with the Saints not paying 12M/yr. Better to let go a year or two early.

The Patriots way.

12 a year is insane

What is more insane, him getting $12M a year from the Falcons; or that he left us to go to the Falcons and will now officially count $10.2M against our cap

Wait, he's with the Falcons now right?

Washed up, bum, PED, Falcons overpaid, etc.

Did I miss anything?

FWIW, his PFF score suggests he took a big step back this season

we HAVE to address it at pick 29 or 40.

It needs to be both. There has to be multiple dline takes in this years draft.

Im talking about as many as 4-5 picks being used on dline

It’s like clockwork. As soon as we can’t keep someone they always suck.

He was objectively a less effective player after the bust and suspension

TYFYS David O. Wishing him nothing but failure as a Falcon, like Tyler Davison before him.

Love Onyemata and wish we could have had him back but no way I would pay him $12 million annually at his age. Sucks he went to the Falcons but you kind of knew Nielsen would poach players.
