Eh. It was fricked regardless of losing O and Tuttle. They really weren’t that good last year. Our interior hasn’t been good since losing Rankins and Malcom Brown and we never put any resources into it afterward and just expected Nielsen to continue to work miracles with UDFA

We’ll add a couple of guys in FA but we’ll def be drafting interior DL with 29 or 40.

One of the two picks has to be a dt. I also hope we trade up with our 4th round pick to the very top of the 4th or bottom 3rd to get Jacquelin Roy. Think he will be better in the pros than college and shoujd be able to at least rotate in this year.

Thomlinson DT is good vs the run and Allen DT is good with rushing the QB. Wonder what they are looking to get? Rankins as well.

O was alot better pass rusher than Rankins and he was constantly injured. Brown was a good run stuffer but he fell off a year or so after we traded him.

Yup. Onyemata is getting old, and he isnt Cam Jordan. Time to replace. Street, Roach, and Kpassagnon are ready to step up. Turner (270) also can play inside at times.
We will def draft someone too, we always target lineman in drafts. Nothing new. ANDD this draft is loaded with DL/DT.

Saints usually go “cheap” at DT and rotate 4 guys anyway. Our rush D was the worst it’s been in years. It’s easy to find cheap, effective rotational guys.
