its clear the players lost total respect for DA and think its in their option to help a guy out is ok.

i see both sides but its like this, if HB scores then great, if you are going to push it in im ok with that if its HB getting the ball so its his TD

otherwise, the attempt to use the long return as an excuse to give the RB (who hadnt played all year due to injury) a score at that point, is weak to blame that long return, as the reason for them going for it.

i get why they feel that way, but no, as professionals, you shouldnt be spiking the ball adding garbage time scores with 1:03 left in the game

The QB gets the play from the sideline and runs the play

Dennis should have said ya originally we were thinking victory formation but when you have an opportunity to maybe improve your offense by getting a quality offensive mind fired from him HC job and maybe create an opportunity to get him as your OC then you have to take the opportunity. You miss 100% of the shot you don’t take.

Jameis said it, but Taysom was out there on the field. He could have stopped it in the huddle, could have said "nah, just run the fricking play he called. It's 41-17, we won. Don't run a fake kneel-down". He didn't.

Allen has to go because he has zero respect or control of the team. Loomis needs to meet with every single player involved, and get rid of whoever feels like they don't need to listen to their coach.

Understand, this wasn't freelancing a play trying to win, because you think you have a feel for what will work in a big moment- it was blatantly disobeying your head coach to intentionally run up the score more.

Look, I love that we scored again. I wish Mathieu would have ran it back. I love stomping the Falcons.

That isn't the issue.

The issue is the head coach said "no, don't do that". In the post-game conference, he even acknowledged that players asked if they could get a score 'for Jamal', and he said NO. They then went out, lined up in Victory Formation, and said frick that guy, we're doing this anyway.

Like I said, the whole thing needs to be blown up. You don't want a coach who the players don't respect, and you don't want players who defy a coach's explicit order.
