It kinda was a bad look running basically a trick play from the victory formation. Smith wouldn't have said anything if we just lined up and ran power and scored.
Problem is that Allen already said no to letting Williams score. If they had lined up in anything but the victory formation, Allen would have called a timeout.

They should but yeah, he’s staying. The FO is going to make it out to NOT be a big deal but it’s a huge deal. It wasn’t just something a handful of players did. 80% of the roster signed off on that shite

These statements are the very cancer that the saints allow. Just because someone said this doesn't make it right. This ain't pee wee football. That is a full grown man. Him working hard has nothing to do with with deserving to get a td. Having a job making millions is his reward. JW is a race baiting cancer spreading pos. He should be fired/cut, not DA. No, he did not, I had not heard his press conference when I posted this. It seems he did not realize those guys were still chasing him down, and said he should have known they would be. He did say that it worked out so Williams could get the TD.

Had Tryann scored on the interception, all would be good in the football world.
But to line up in a victory formation that close to the goal with a very healthy lead and no time left, and push the ball across for a score is poor assed sportsmanship!
Just imagine the Falcons would have done the very same thing to us in the very same fashion...the fans would be livid and wanting to kill!
