He’s being emotional over his worth over really what he’s been paid the past couple years not really about what he’s about to get paid

Just give him $7-8m and load his contract full of bonus incentives

I'm not doing crap. His deadline has come and gone and it doesn't help us like it did before to resign him and help us with cap space this year.

Is there ever one single day on any board when no poster suggests a black/ white issue is the point?

We are paying the same amount total on the old money whether he would have re-signed before or re-signs now. We did not NEED the cap relief for this year. We still have about $20 mil in space and nothing we are locked in to spending it on despite all the old money now hitting this year.

It would have been stupid for the Saints to rush that decision to re-sign him just to save cap this year but cost cap next year when we don't need the cap this year.

I normally just ignore it, but we ain't gonna slander Cam like that when first the guy isn't even white like that and second he was joking around because Elliss went to Atlanta of all places and called him by his father's name.

Cam Jordan is a fricking racist. Toted the black lives matter line and the george floyd charade and all that instant social justice bs and turned his back on drew brees. Got balls to call me a racist when the BLM is the racist playing the black card. Cam Jordan had the balls to tell drew brees about "walking a mile in his shoes". Cam had about as privileged of a child hood as there is. frick off.

Too many people apply racist when most likely bias or prejudice is the word they are looking for.

As a 37 year old, situational pass rusher, he should be signing heavily incentivized 1 year deals or he needs to retire.

Yeah I’m gonna be honest. I stopped liking Cam a long time ago. He was cool until about 2018-2019. His shtick got old with me.

He’s frankly just annoying as frick and has been for a while. He’s an all-time Saint, a good leader for this young core the Saints have but I would be more than happy to move on.

If Cam wants to come back I’m fine with it but he comes as the 3rd DE, even if he starts, plus he comes on a 1 year deal that is heavily incentive laden. No guaranteed money past $7.5 million.

Its an ego driven business and unfortunately the great ones dont seem to recognize the regression.

I kinda get where he is coming from. In his eyes he took less last contract and didnt want to do it again and he views the situation as giving the saints every chance to try and keep him

However, Moore and company seem to want to finish off this rebuild and I dont blame them for not going out of their way to cater to a guy thats feeling are kinda hurt.

Aint no reason to turn on cam. Business is business.

He’s always been a bit annoying. It’s ok to say it while still pulling for him and the team. It’s not like he’s a piece of crap human just a little douchey.

He’s 5 sacks away from top 15 all time. I’m sure he’d love to get that number.

Bummer if he leaves. But Saints need to think for future.

If Saints make a run next year or two he’s going to have more regrets than if he says and leaves some money on the table.
