Leftwich has proven nothing. It’s Tom Brady’s offense and plays
OUR offense will be guided by Carmichael, Payton’s trusted actual coordinator since 2009. If Payton is so good why would we bring in an outsider and disrupt that?

DA may not be a glamor pick, but he has been an amazing D coordinator for years now, knows the organization and personnel inside and out, and has actual head coaching experience. He has spent seven years with Payton AFTER his failures in Oakland. I can't imagine the lessons he learned from the Raiders, plus years of mentorship from Payton, plus a talented defensive focused team won't lead him to being successful here.
He may not wind up being Payton, but I gotta think he is as much of a sure thing that Mickey could pick right now.

I'm gonna say in calling plays knowledge Brady>Leftwich.

I think the last 2 years of his regular season offense (with Tom Brady) against Allen's defense begs to differ .
Even Leftwich couldn't beat this year's team.

That isn't how it works

Wasn't Leftwich the OC when Jameis threw 30 ints?

He coached the #1 offense in the NFL before Brady ever wore a bucs jersey

He’s 0-6 against New Orleans as oc in the regular season last three years. And they have struggled offensively here latey. We shut them out last game with 3rd string dudes. I just don’t want that. It looks to be a very solvable puzzle … give me Eric Bieniemy over leftwitch

Just to be clear, some of y’all are saying no on Leftwich because he’s done poorly against the Saints, oh except for the one time it meant the most?
No one knows if someone will make a good head coach or not. But, wanting Allen over Leftwich cause Allen is already with Saints and Leftwich has had bad games against Saints is a terrible way to pick a coach.

I'll take Allen over Leftwich.

The Bucs were not good on offense in that playoff win. It’s such a revisionist myth that Brady and leftwhich elevated when it mattered most.
Our offense had four turnovers. That entire post season run was primarily the Bucs D, which won the saints and Chiefs games almost single handedly. The Bucs offense had one really good game against the packers

Brady retired. Looks like Falcons now best QB position in NFC South.
